So the article creator made a bit of a mess creating different versions of this article, and then tried to combine them using cut-and-paste moves which were promptly reverted. So we are left with two almost identical versions of the same article, and XCX World should be merged with this. The question is not whether the merger should take place – that's a no-brainer – but what the title of the final article should be. I am leaning towards using this title and keeping "XCX World" as a redirect, because there are almost no reliable sources that actually use that name, and Charli herself has said of the scrapped album, "People call it XCX World, but I hadn't even titled it. There was no title. There was no track list yet." So clearly it never had an official title. Gagaluv1 has made a fair suggestion on the talk page of the other version of this article that perhaps the article should be deleted altogether, and that's a possibility, considering this album has never and will never be released... but I suggest it would be better to merge these first, and then possibly send it to AfD if necessary, because otherwise we would need to send two practically identical articles to AfD. - I don't know how to vote on this or anything but I agree that the two pages need to be merged. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonathon3378 (talk • contribs) 12:54, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- I agree, I think "Unreleased third studio album (Charli XCX)" is the more appropriate title between the two, but perhaps it should instead be "Unreleased third Charli XCX studio album." I think its potential deletion should be considered in relation to the songs that have their own pages. Merging the relevant content with the four song articles could be repetitive. At present, only one of the song articles prominently refers to either article about the unreleased album. Zaelzo (talk) 21:01, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Merge - not relevant on its own. Karst (talk) 16:26, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
- Support. The pages are for the same project, so there should be one article. And since XCX World literally begins by stating that the title is an unofficial title, this article title should be the hub for the merger. This article seems more detailed anyway, so is there anything still to merge from XCX World? – DarkGlow • 21:09, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
