I think this section of the page is incorrect. It doesn’t mention Beighton ward in the Boundaries section, when it was part of the constituency - certainly in the latter period of its existence. According to The Almanac of British Politics by Robert Waller and Byron Criddle (2007), the component wards then were Beighton, Birley, Darnall, Mosborough, Richmond and Woodhouses. This page refers to Handsworth, yet there was no such council ward at the time. What’s going on? I could edit the Boundaries for 1983-2010, but I feel this section as whole may have other incorrect information, and therefore needs checking. Having now looked a bit more, it seems there were council ward boundary changes in 2004, which explains it. But the component wards weren’t the same from 2004-2010 as they had been previously.
