@Spitzak and 9291Sam: The revert (diff) does not seem desirable to me. Is there some text in the reference (a long pdf spec of the 74LS47) which verifies that the chip was designed to only produce 0–9 correctly? It's WP:BLUESKY obvious that a 7-segment display cannot show A–F other than with made-up symbols. What is the problem with the new text? Johnuniq (talk) 03:41, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
In my opinion, this article is of extremely high quality. I am a software developer, and I could not do better. Thank you everyone for your work on this. 38.158.133.244 (talk) 04:34, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
I recently learned about a variant on hexadecimal called sexadecimal from Dave's Garage on YouTube. It uses the symbols K S N J F L instead of the usual A B C D E F for the digits 10–15. Sexadecimal redirects to Hexadecimal, but the former isn't really discussed on the latter. The unusual K S N J F L sequence is also mentioned on the pages for ORDVAC AND BRLESC, but without much discussion. More info — or perhaps even a new section on this page — would be nice. Dave's Garage managed to fill 22 minutes on this obscure topic. Elert (talk) 21:43, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
