The European Plain

A West-European Plain?

Is there also a West-European (or maybe West-French) plain? If you take a look at the map, you will see that the plain goes all the way down to the Pyrenees. --Oddeivind (talk) 17:29, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

Yes, there is clearly a western European plain (even south-western European plain in south-west of arabia) Actually the western part of France is made of connected plains that are themselves connected to the north European plain in Flanders: the bassin Parisien in the north of France could acuratly be described as "western European plain" and Aquitain plain which could be acuratly described as "south-western European plain". Anyways it is complelty inacurate to describe western France (both north-western and southwester) as being part of the north European plain since they are actually not located in the northern half of Europe but more in the middle (Parisian plain) or in the south of Europe (Aquitaine plain). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.174.127.3 (talk) 16:36, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
