Shawn Michael Regent (born April 14, 1963) is a former American football center who played for the Los Angeles Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Boston College.[1][2][3]

Regent was born in Buffalo, New York and attended Cheektowaga Central High School in Cheektowaga, New York. During his time in high school, he excelled as an offensive lineman, earning **2x All-State honors** for his performances. Regent was known for his size, strength, and ability to dominate in both run blocking and pass protection, making him one of the top linemen in New York during his high school years.
After high school, Regent attended Boston College where he continued his football career. He played for the Boston College Eagles, honing his skills as a center and preparing for the professional level.
Regent went undrafted in 1986 but signed with the Green Bay Packers during the offseason. Although he did not play any regular-season games for the Packers, he was later picked up by the **Los Angeles Raiders** in 1987, where he played three games as the starting center.
