New Zealand Go Society (NZGS) is the national governing body for the ancient oriental sport of Go in the country of New Zealand. It has been a member of the International Go Federation since 1982.[1]
The aims of the society are:[2]
NZGS adopts the New Zealand Rules of Go,[3] which is one of major rulesets of Go in the world,[4] and the basis of the Tromp-Taylor Rules,[4][5][6] proposed by John Tromp and Bill Taylor.
