Mešić was born in Tuzla. He played for Sloboda Tuzla, French Nantes and Besançon,[2] FK Željezničar, Croatian Hajduk Split,[3] NK Žepče, NK Posušje, FK Sarajevo, Slovenian Rudar Velenje and Bulgarian side PFC Lokomotiv Sofia.
