Nikolić played abroad for LASK Linz, Rapid Wien, PSV Eindhoven and Willem II Tilburg.
He later coached PSV Eindhoven,[2] 1. FC Saarbrücken,[3] Wormatia Worms,[4] TuS Neuendorf,[5] FC Luzern,[6] and VfR Neumünster.[7]
