The current President of the Maldives, Mohamed Muizzu's age is 45, and he is also the youngest president in Maldivian history, while former president Maumoon Abdul Gayoom is the oldest former president alive in Maldivian history.^[1][2]

1. Ibrahim Didi served as acting president from September 2, 1953, to March 7, 1954, after the banishment of Mohamed Amin Didi. He was the first person to serve as the Acting President in the Maldives.
