Kiumars Pourahmad (Persian: کیومرث پوراحمد; 16 December 1949 – 5 April 2023) was an Iranian film director, screenwriter, film editor, film producer and novelist. He is best known for his TV Series, The Tales of Majid.

Biography
He was born in Najafabad on 16 December 1949.[1][2] He later moved to Tehran where he worked as a writer and film critic in the Film magazine.[2] On the morning of 5 April 2023, at the age of 73, Pourahmad was found dead under suspicious circumstances, in a rented villa in Bandar-e Anzali. The police are still investigating his death.[3][4]
