Velez Sarsfeild
Born in Buenos Aires, Fernández joined the Vélez Sarsfield academy at a young age, before eventually moving to the first team after good performances at the youth level.
New York City FC
It was announced that on August 1, 2023, New York City FC had acquired Fernández from Vélez Sarsfield.[2] He scored his first goal in a 1-0 win over the Chicago Fire FC.[3]
