Ivo Nakić married Zorica Desnica who had previously been engaged to the professional tennis player Slobodan "Boba" Živojinović with whom she had a son, Filip, before splitting up without ever getting to the altar. Desnica and Nakić later married and had a son Mario and daughter Iva.
