The inaugural head coach of the Ireland women's national rugby league team was John Whalley.[1]
In January 2024, Rugby League Ireland announced the appointment of Matt Kennerson as the Head Coach.[2]
The table below lists the squads that played in the European Qualifiers for the World Cup. Jersey numbers are those used for the play-off against Greece on 12 October 2024.[3][4] The seven players without a jersey number were squad members for the matches in April and May 2024.
Alex McGuinness was appointed Captain.[5]

- A four-team World Series in 2025, the winner of which will be the eighth and final team to qualify for the 2026 Women's Rugby League World Cup. In addition to Ireland, the 2025 World Series will include:
Nigeria- The winner of the Americas playoffs (Canada, Jamaica or United States)
- The runner-up of the Pacific Bowl Tournament (Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa or Tonga)
- As at 13 October 2024, the dates of the 2025 World Series had not been announced by the International Rugby League.
