A native of Tarragona, Spain, Córdoba joined the youth academy of Spanish La Liga side Barcelona at under-12 level.[1] At the age of sixteen, he almost joined the youth academy of German Bundesliga side FC Bayern.[2] In 2023, he joined the youth academy of Spanish La Liga side Valencia, where he started his senior career with the club's reserve team.
Córdoba plays as a defender, specifically as a centre-back or as a right-back. A right-footed player, "clean when bringing the ball out and, above all, powerful in the air, both in defence and attack".[3]
