Hawaii Five-O (1968 TV series) season 5

The fifth season of Hawaii Five-O premiered on September 12, 1972, and ended March 13, 1973. 24 episodes aired during this season. The Region 1 DVD was released on November 18, 2008.^{[citation needed]} Herman Wedemeyer became a main cast member. This season also introduced Al Harrington as part of the main cast as police officer Ben Kokua,^[1] replacing the character of Kono (played by Zulu).^[2]
