It consisted of, amongst others, Movimiento Independiente de Profesionales y Técnicos de El Salvador (MIPTES), Movimiento Popular Social Cristiano (MPSC), Movimiento Nacional Revolucionario (MNR), Trade Union federations, small business owners and a minor sector of dissident militaries.
