Francisco Javier de Istúriz

Francisco Javier de Istúriz y Montero (31 October 1785 in Cádiz^[5] – 2 April 1871 in Madrid^[6]) was a Spanish politician and diplomat who served as the Prime Minister of Spain.^[7] He also served as the President of the Senate and President of the Congress of Deputies several times.

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Istúriz and the second or maternal family name is Montero.
