East Keating Township was a township in Clinton County, Pennsylvania until January 1, 2025, when it was absorbed into Noyes Township. ^[3] The population was 9 at the 2020 census,^[2] the second smallest municipality in terms of population in Pennsylvania behind Centralia.^[4]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township had a total area of 51.4 square miles (133.1 km²), of which 50.6 square miles (131.1 km²) was land and 0.73 square miles (1.9 km²), or 1.40%, was water.^[5]

As of the census^[8] of 2000, there were 24 people, 13 households, and 7 families residing in the township. The population density was 0.5 people per square mile (0.2/km²). There were 145 housing units at an average density of 2.9/sq mi (1.1/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.

There were 13 households, out of which 7.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.5% were married couples living together, and 38.5% were non-families. 38.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.85 and the average family size was 2.38.
