Dangi people

The Dangi are an agricultural Hindu caste native to northern India. Their traditional occupation is farming. They speak several languages, but Hindi is the most commonly understood language among them.^{[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][page needed][9][page needed]} In Bihar, Dangi are a sub-caste of the upwardly mobile Kurmi caste.^[10][11] Dangi is a sub cast of Kurmi
