O'Reilly was born in Indiana, United States, and raised in Ireland, between County Wicklow and Dublin.^[4] Her African-American descent mother was a singer and her Irish father was a drummer.^[4] She moved to London at age 17.^[4]

O'Reilly has worked with Eg White, Mura Masa and Rostam^[5] and Justin Raisen^[6] and toured with Flume.^[2]
