The pages in this category are redirects from the only lower-ranking members of monotypic spider taxa to their monotypic taxa in biology-related articles. For instance, when a genus has only one species, the binomial should redirect to the genus name if Wikipedia:Naming conventions (fauna) indicate that the article should be at the scientific name, and both should redirect to the common name if the naming conventions indicate that the article should be at the common name. To add a redirect to this category, place {{Rcat shell|{{R to monotypic taxon|spider}}}} on the second new line (skip a line) after #REDIRECT [[Target page name]] . For more information follow the links. Never substitute redirect template(s), nor place them on soft redirects.See also the complete list of redirect templates and the redirect style guide. |
