Binéfar (Spanish: [biˈnefaɾ] ) is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2008 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 9,288 inhabitants.

History

During the Spanish Civil War, the town participated in the Spanish revolution and was collectivised by the CNT.[2]

  • Agustín Abadía (born 15 April 1962) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a left midfielder, and a current coach.
