Benjamin Doyle is an American YouTuber, writer, producer, and editor, known as one of the co-creators and primary hosts of the travel competition web series Jet Lag: The Game. He is also recognized for his work on Wendover Productions' educational content and the YouTube channel Half as Interesting.[1]

Early life and education
Doyle spent the first six years of his life in Los Angeles before his family returned to Baltimore, where he was raised.[citation needed] He is the son of Larry Doyle, a writer known for his work on The Simpsons and Looney Tunes: Back in Action.[citation needed] He has two siblings.[citation needed]
Doyle studied literary arts at Brown University,[citation needed], graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2021.[1]

Early career
In 2019, he worked for the satirical news website The Hard Times.[1][2] While studying, he worked as Editor in Chief at The Brown Jug, Brown's oldest humor magazine.[1][3]
Wendover Productions and Half as Interesting
The founder of Wendover Productions, Sam Denby, wanted to find a full-time writer into his team.[4] In June 2021, Doyle came to Wendover Productions and started working as a full-time writer/producer.[1] He independently wrote and researched 12 scripts for videos on Half as Interesting YouTube channel.[5][1] Doyle also contributed to the writing, research, and on-location work for the documentary Alaska's Silent Summer.[citation needed]
Jet Lag: The Game

In 2022, Doyle started Jet Lag: The Game alongside Sam Denby and Adam Chase,[6] frequently competing alongside Chase when playing in pairs.[citation needed] The series, produced by Wendover Productions, is a travel competition show that combines elements of geography-based challenges and strategic gameplay. Each season features contestants racing across different regions, completing tasks inspired by board games and playground activities. The show is primarily released on the streaming platform Nebula, with episodes later available on YouTube.
As of 2025, Jet Lag: The Game has completed thirteen seasons, with Doyle participating in each one. Doyle's role in Jet Lag: The Game includes hosting, game design, production, and editing.[7][8] The show has been well-received by audiences and critics, receiving nominations at the Streamy Awards and the Webby Awards.[9][10]
Other Projects
Doyle's work includes producing the documentary Alaska's Silent Summer (2021)[citation needed] and the mini-series Half as Interesting's Crime Spree: The World's Most Illegal Game Show (2022), both alongside with Denby and Chase. He has also been involved in the production of The Getaway (2024) and is listed as a supervising producer for the series Abolish Everything![citation needed]
