Background
Neutral venue arrangements
On 19 December 2024, following an agreement between BCCI and PCB, the ICC in an update issued on India and Pakistan hosted matches at ICC events, established that the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 (hosted by India) will be played across India and a neutral venue. The ICC board confirmed that India and Pakistan matches hosted by either country at ICC Events during the 2024–2027 rights cycle will be played at a neutral venue.[3] But since Pakistan has not qualified directly for this tournament and has qualified for the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier, so a neutral venue would be decided only if Pakistan qualifies for the tournament.
