Australian cricket tournament From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 1919–20 Sheffield Shield season was the 24th season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition of Australia. New South Wales won the championship by virtue of finishing with a better average.[1][2] First-class cricket had resumed in Australia for the 1918–19 season, but the Sheffield Shield was not contested.[3]
