ÎleSoniq Music Festival

The ÎleSoniq Music Festival (French: Festival de musique ÎleSoniq) is the largest music festival in Canada for its genre, a 2-day major electronic dance music festival in Montreal, Quebec, that is held every summer at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Sainte-Hélène. The festival takes place on multiple stages with various audience capacities. The 2024 edition occurred from August 10–11, 2024.

Growing from 105,000 attendees in its first year in 2014, ÎleSoniq's sixth edition (2019) marked a record of 270,000 over three days, a jump from 2018's 225,000 fans.[1]
The 2023 edition had an encouraging results : 65,000 people passed through the gates over two days, roughly half on Saturday and the other half on Sunday. This was the best edition of ÎleSoniq in terms of the number of tickets sold.[2]
The 2024 edition of the ÎleSoniq festival featured duo performances and captivating sets between Nghtmre and Jauz, Green Velvet and Patrick Topping, Odd Mob and Omnom's "Hyperbeam" project, Boogie T and Dirt Monkey and other well-known artists.[3] This year ÎleSoniq promises an unforgettable week with a various lineup going from Hip Hop Pop music and EDM.[4] The famous artists Ben Böhmer, DJ Snake and Loud Luxury will get the party started at Parc Jean-Drapeau on August 10th and 11th of 2024. [5] On the main stage, DJ Snake and Tiesto will be performing to welcome over 50,000 concert-goers every-night[6]. ÎleSoniq features 3 stages: The Bell Oasis Stage, the Coca-Cola Neon Stage, and the Mirage Stage.[7] For the 2025 edition, the two headliners of the festival are Illenium and John Summit. [8]

History
Created in 2014, ÎleSoniq is located into the heart of Montreal, at Espace 67 of Parc Jean-Drapeau. For three days, the festival has welcomed some of the world's most successful EDM and urban music artists, including ILLENIUM, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, The Chainsmokers, Alesso, Adventure Club, Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, and MIGOS.[10]
ÎleSoniq is one of the biggest EDM festival in the Great White North.[11]
This festival has one of the most stunning visuals with the one of the most massive stages on the worldwide festival circuit.[12]
The first edition of this festival proved the power and passion of ÎleSoniq . It's interesting how fast fans adopted îleSoniq as Montréal’s newest celebration.[13]
ÎleSoniq is the electronic-specific counterpart to Osheaga. It is designed for lovers of electronic music.[14]
