Vernay (French pronunciation: [vɛʁnɛ]) is a former municipality in the district of Broye, in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. It was created on 1 January 2006 from the merger of the municipalities of Autavaux, Forel and Montbrelloz.[2] The administrative seat is in Forel.
