Zaminum, is the material from Lilo & Stitch your own work, or is it copied from another source? -- Zoe
Zaminum, I'm still waiting for an answer from you concerning the copyright status of the information you put into Lilo & Stitch. If I don't get an answer soon, I'm going to delete what you put there and write my own article. -- Zoe
Sorry about that delay, I was away for awhile. It`s mine, based on about 6 or so magazine and newspaper articles. The quotes are from those sites, but I`ve done much rewriting to change the page as much as possible. I can find the site addresses if you want to read over the sources. - Zanimum
Hi! I don't want to be antagonistic or anything, but if you are Desmond Sargeant, it is probably a good idea to keep the mentions of yourself to a minimum. ;-) --snoyes 00:36 Feb 21, 2003 (UTC)
I'm not, he's just some guy I read about in the local newspaper. I don't know him, don't go to his school, just live in his city.
Hi, I just saw your edits on bark. Any particular reason why you replace links like parasites with parasites? They show the same result, you know... --Magnus Manske 17:26 Mar 27, 2003 (UTC)
- I just find it looks tacky to have part of the word a link, part of it not. Is there a prefered style? - Zanimum
- In the article, however, both parasites and parasites output the same result: the whole word is linked.
I reverted People on stamps for you. Danny
I've got a book of copyright free animal illustrations. Would these be of interest, even though they aren't photos? They are pretty correct looking and well drawn. Zanimum
- Dear Zanimum, yes, the 'pedia is desperately in need of well-drawn illustrations. But remember to attribute the source even if it's uncopyrighted, it might be of interest to some people to know the source.
Christa Behmenburg is currently an orphaned article. Can you find some articles to link to 'Christa Behmenburg? Kingturtle 23:46 May 13, 2003 (UTC)
I've had a look at a couple of your people accounts. Two problems: (1) although the copyright bits are acknowledged as such, this means they shouldn't really be there (2) The people are pretty obscure. The standard of whether they merit an entry is the number of Google hits. Trudy LeCaine gets none, and Judith Budovitch only 18 (not checked for relevance). The liklihood is that these articles will be deleted. Sorry if this is unhelpful jimfbleak 17:06 3 Jun 2003 (UTC)
Hi Zanimum. A page you created called Zanimum Moos back in feb has been listed on VfD. It appears to be a sandbox. If you have no objections I'd like to delete it straight away. Theresa knott 08:54 27 Jun 2003 (UTC)
- Yes. Thank you for doing so.
re: your question at Talk:Sesame Street about the table of contents
It's automatically generated from section headings (==Primary Characters==, ===Primary Puppet Characters===, and so on). See Wikipedia:Section for more information. āPaul A 01:22, 1 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Zanmium, have you tried to contact Rozwell about the images he has uploaded inappropriately and repeatedly? --Robert Merkel 06:04, 8 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Hey. There are some guidelines on what to, and not to, list in the Anniv subsection on the Main Page at Wikipedia:Selected Articles on the Main Page. For example, births and deaths are rarely listed. Exceptions; unconventional birth (such as the birth of the first genetically engineered mammal or first test tube baby) and unnatural deaths (such as an assassination or famous killing). If the person is famous enough to merit being in our encyclopedia, then they actually did something worth noting. If we know that date and properly list it on the day page and update the person's article, then that person gets their chance to be listed. Cheers! --mav 21:21, 9 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Hey - I asked you nicely before to follow the guidelines. Please do so. Chad is a stub (meaning don't list), Chad also lacks any context (meaning don't list). Same for Alcatraz. --mav
OK - this is getting old. Please follow the guidelines. --mav
