Hi Hauser,
I hope I didn't step on your toes with my edit on 1948 Arab-Israeli War, but the Arab-Israeli conflict in general is one of the most contentious topics on wikipedia, and so we all have to take special care to treat each subject in the proper place, or else edit wars quickly spread across lots and lots of different pages. Feel free to reinsert it into another article (not sure exactly which one), though many people will edit it, for sure.

I think the main thing the 1948 war article needs is some more facts on the war. It's very sparse right now... But for the demographic outcome, it would be a good idea to link to the existing articles we have right now on Palestinian exodus and Palestinian refugee. In fact, that would help the article quite a bit. Peace, DanKeshet
