Hey there. I've been flat out lately with fellow stuff, do you think you could take a look at the cases requiring a volunteer and see if you can do anything with them? Steven Zhang Help resolve disputes! 20:18, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/The Tragedy of Mister Morn at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; see step 3 of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 03:10, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
On 21 October 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Dinosaurs, Myths and Monsters, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the BBC documentary programme Dinosaurs, Myths and Monsters speculates that the Cyclopes, the one-eyed giants of Greek mythology, may have been inspired by elephant skulls? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Dinosaurs, Myths and Monsters. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

I think he was referring to templates in article space, not warning notices. --Go Phightins! 22:38, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
So does this imply that you've now concluded there are no longer any Hong Kong residents and that God didn't create Manchester? And, maybe, there's something about Olivia Newton-John? Best regards, TransporterMan (TALK) 16:06, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi, Xanchester! Thanks for answering Teahouse questions! You're doing fine, of course, but there is one thing. we've found in the past that a lot of people who ask questions at the Teahouse don't really know about watchlist functions or things like that, and they don't automatically keep an eye on the questions page. So, we've found it's really helpful to them to drop them a talkback when their questions are answered; otherwise, many don't even see the answer. There's a special Teahouse talkback if you prefer that over the normal one, and if scripts are your thing, there are a few at WP:Teahouse/Host lounge/User scripts that I and others have made to make the process a bit easier (the talkback-link one gets good reviews). Thanks again! Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 05:40, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
On 28 October 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article The Tragedy of Mister Morn, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Vladimir Nabokov's play The Tragedy of Mister Morn, written in 1923–24, was not published during his lifetime? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Tragedy of Mister Morn. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
