Hi, WikiRedactor, I was doing some cleanup at Bangerz and noticed you left this hidden message regarding edits that list the song "4x4" as a single without sources: "ADDING "4x4" IS CONSIDERED VANDALISM WITHOUT A RELIABLE SOURCE." Please remember that while continually reverting unsourced or improperly sourced content can be frustrating, we should assume good faith with editors who may not be familiar with all of our policies. Vandalism refers only to edits that are intentionally disruptive. –Chase (talk / contribs) 22:06, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
Hello WikiRedactor. If you have some spare time these days, can you take a look at Megadeth, an FA candidate of mine? The review is here, so I'll be grateful if you can leave your comment/vote whether the article deserves to attain FA status. Cheers.--Retrohead (talk) 22:41, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
Hi WikiRedactor. A few days back, I had proposed that Body Language Live be merged into Money Can't Buy. Unfortunately, it is a rather obscure article and its talk page is rarely visited. I think it will never reach consensus at this rate. To add to that, I cannot wait for 30 days to make a bold merge since I've got the new article ready in my sandbox. I'm not aiming to canvas at all, but I hope you can review the proposal and give your opinion. Thanks! --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 15:34, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
Just a thank you (and congrats!) for your work on this article. Love the album! ----Another Believer (Talk) 18:04, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
Hi! Would you care to review my FA nomination for the article Of Human Feelings? The article is about a jazz album by Ornette Coleman, and the criteria for FA articles is at WP:FACR. If not, feel free to ignore this message. Cheers! Dan56 (talk) 05:09, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:WreckingBallScreenshot.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 09:23, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
Incredible job with your most recent FA, Electra Heart! And, shall we continue with Christina Aguilera? Seems like I am the only contributor recently. But if you are so busy with other projects, then it'll be alright. Simon (talk) 14:10, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
Hey, if you are interested, would you please leave some comments at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/The Love Club EP/archive1? Feel free to ignore this. Best, Simon (talk) 08:02, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
Got some great news! WikiProject Shakira has a second good topic! Yup, Sale el Sol is now a good topic (here)! I am very happy, considering it had a good number of large articles and it took me nearly a year. This is great. WP:SHAKIRA is giving other projects a run for their money, at least when it comes to good topics. Thanks! --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 08:12, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
Hey WikiRedactor! Whenever you have time, consider commenting on Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Shakira discography/archive1. This can be a milestone. Thank you! --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 15:48, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
As you may know, I write for the Signpost, basically Wikipedia's newsletter. I'd like to do a feature on the semifinalists, would you be willing to provide, say, 250 to 500 words saying: (1.) Why did you join the Wikicup? (2.) What you you hope to get out of it? and (3.) Which of your contributions to the Wikicup are your favourites?
Not quite sure how I'll order them - I'll probably make the ed17 decide, as, you know, Conflict of Interest: I am a semifinalist. I'd imagine point order or alphabetical or the like.
Can you please reply at Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2014-07-30/Wikicup#WikiRedactor? Thanks! Adam Cuerden (talk) 00:26, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
WikiRedactor, I'm taking Katy Perry to FAC tomorrow. If all goes well, she'll reach FA in time to be "Today's Featured Article" for her 30th birthday this upcoming October 25th! Any pre-FAC suggestions you have should be left on her talk page. SNUGGUMS (talk · contribs) 20:21, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
Hey WikiRedactor, would you mind leaving some comments here? Thanks, Simon (talk) 09:06, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Hi, I closed Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2014 July 5#Category:Albums produced by Mike WiLL Made It with no action, as you had not tagged the category page. The latter is necessary so that interested editors can find out that the discussion is taking place.
If you find that the instructions at WP:CFD are not clear, please let me know which parts have a problem.
As the article has not been renamed, you could make a Speedy nomination to rename the category to match it (justification = C2D), which has already happened with the other category that you nominated on July 5. – Fayenatic London 13:48, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Someone Else (Miley Cyrus song) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Just wanna say congrats on Electra Heart being today's featured article, you really did well on that :) Snuggums (talk / edits) 21:57, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
The article Someone Else (Miley Cyrus song) you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Someone Else (Miley Cyrus song) for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already been on the main page as an "In the news" or "Did you know" item, you can nominate it to appear in Did you know. I don't think Remy Ma and Foxy brown can be included as a beef, as naturally beef is between more than one party. Foxy made those comment and Nicki never responded and Remy made one comment in jest which was the end of that, too, with no comments from Minaj. It seems like unnecessary KB that can just be taken out entirely. Kane (talk) 23:49, 12 August 2014 (UTC)

I stumbled upon your sandbox and saw that you had the foresight to start the article for Miley's 5th album already! You deserve this for your hard work on Miley related articles! Good job! :) CyrockingSmiler (talk) 11:57, 20 August 2014 (UTC) |
Thanks to your help, Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson is now a featured article :'D! Couldn't have done it without you. Snuggums (talk / edits) 02:04, 23 August 2014 (UTC)

The final of the 2014 WikiCup begins in a few short minutes! Our eight finalists are listed below, along with their placement in Round 4:
We say goodbye to this year's semi-finalists. Matty.007 (submissions), ThaddeusB (submissions), WikiRedactor (submissions), Figureskatingfan (submissions), Yellow Evan (submissions), Prism (submissions) and Cloudz679 (submissions) have all performed well to reach this stage of the competition, and we hope they will all be joining us again next year.
There are two upcoming competitions unrelated to the WikiCup which may be of interest to those who receive this newsletter. The Stub Contest will run through September, and revolves around expanding stub articles, especially high-importance or old stubs. In addition, a proposal has been made for a new competition, the GA Cup, which the organisers plan to run next year. This competition is based on the WikiCup and aims to reduce the good article review backlog.
There is now a thread for brainstorming on how next year's WikiCup competition should work. Please come along and share your thoughts- What works? What doesn't work? What needs changing? Signups for next year's competition will be open soon; we will be in touch. If, at this stage of the competition, you are keen to help the with the WikiCup, please do what you can to participate in review processes. Our finalists will find things much easier if the backlogs at good article candidates, featured article candidates, featured picture candidates and the rest are kept at a minimum. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Thanks for uploading File:FaceTime Mac iOS.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Psychonaut (talk) 08:41, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

In one month's time, we will know our WikiCup 2014 champion. Newcomer Godot13 (submissions) has taken a strong lead with a featured list (historical coats of arms of the U.S. states from 1876) and a raft of featured pictures. Reigning champion Cwmhiraeth (submissions) is in second place with a number of high-importance biology articles, including new FA Isopoda and new GA least weasel. Casliber (submissions), who is in his fifth WikiCup final, is in third, with featured articles Pictor and Epacris impressa.
Signups for the 2015 WikiCup are open. All Wikipedians, new and experienced, are warmly invited to sign up for the competition. Wikipedians interested in friendly competition may also like to sign up for the GA Cup, a new WikiCup-inspired competition which revolves around completing good article reviews. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! For the "Real Housewives" Wikipedia pages, please do not put all the housewives under one list. They separated by "Current" and "Former" by season for a reason! Thank you! -Mgaisser123
For the "Real Housewives" Wikipedia pages, please stop messing with the table for the "Timeline of Housewives" and current cast list. It is kept in a specific organized fashion to make it easier for readers. It's getting really annoying. -Mgaisser123
Thank you for the message!
May I also mention that you are changing the cast list around making it invalid. We have sources to confirm a different cast lineup for the future season. And therefore should be updated. And in my opinion, the older format for the tables looked better and was there for the longest time. Many just prefer that format over the one that you put in bc it wasn't changed and stayed that way. But again that's my opinion. I too hope we can work together without getting on each other's nerves and compromise. -Mgaisser123
I like the separate section for recurring. Now should the former section be dedicated only to ones that were once Main Housewives and nothing else? Should the recurring section be dedicated only to ones that were recurring and nothing else? Or should we split the recurring section into current recurring and former recurring? I think we should. -Mgaisser123 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mgaisser123 (talk • contribs) 20:09, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Right I agree with everything you just wrote. But I think we should have a Current Recurring and Former Recurring section for the women that were never Main Housewives. -Mgaisser123 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mgaisser123 (talk • contribs) 20:17, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Great! Your welcome! Glad we came to an agreement-Mgaisser123 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mgaisser123 (talk • contribs) 20:21, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
I think we better stop with the tables. It keeps on getting changed everyday and it's just not worth it. Plus I think it's a little better now. -Mgaisser123
The 2014 WikiCup champion is Godot13 (submissions), who flew the flag of the Smithsonian Institution. This was Godot13's first WikiCup competition and, over the 10 months of the competition, he has produced (among other contributions) two featured lists and an incredible 292 featured pictures, including architectural photographs and scans of historical documents. Cwmhiraeth (submissions), 2012 and 2013 WikiCup champion, came in second, having written a large number of biology-related articles. Casliber (submissions), WikiCup finalist every year since 2010, finished in third.
A full list of our prize-winners follows:
Congratulations to everyone who has been successful in this year's WikiCup, whether you made it to the final rounds or not, and a particular congratulations to the newcomers to the WikiCup who have participated this year. We warmly invite all of you to sign up for next year's competition. Discussions and polls concerning potential rules changes are also open, and all are welcome to participate. The WikiCup judges will be back in touch over the coming months, and we hope to see you all in the 2014 competition. Until then, it only remains to once again congratulate our worthy winners, and thank all participants for their involvement! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Heart Wants What It Wants, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tim James. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
