Hi, My name is Joel Peck. I just got your message about speedy deletion of my contribution EBOORAY - transform your life.
I suppose it is a form of advertising - but I am also a real person, and the bio is correct, and EBOORAY (to transform you life through health and wellness) is what i am promoting.
if the website is real, and the movement is real - at what point would it qualify for an entry in Wikipedia?
Thanks,
Ebooray (talk) 03:47, 8 April 2008 (UTC) Joel Peck email: joelpeck@ebooray.com
Sorry man, didn't mean to come off harsh.....i guess things can appear in print differently than they were intended. I was trying to make a comment, but I wasn't trying to be harsh with you. All your UFO work is appreciated, as most people don't seem to think it's a serious topic. Obviously you and I do.
Bye now Rodney420 (talk) 14:16, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Victor, Thanks for your helpful comments. I see that I have to make a point of logging in to Wikipedia to check for messages more frequently - sorry for the delay.
Just for your reference - in case you don't already have it: My account name is "ebooray".
I have a scientific publication - on the cognitive effects of Melatonin administration in the elderly - published in American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry.
(PUBMD: search on "peck js melatonin elderly" - Am J Geriatr Psychiatry. 2004 Jul-Aug;12(4):432-6. I just found a better link: )
I'm not sure of your format for properly entering citations. I received the ELI LILLY Resident Research award for the study - presented at the American Psychiatric Association annual convention - in 1998 (if memory serves me) - we didn't get around to publishing it till several years later.
I imagine those items are independent enough references. And then you are saying, make the connection from me to the website - as in the website was launched by Dr. Peck for such and such purpose, keeping it neutral and historical in the way it is presented.
So that is one more thing on my plate to get around to.
By the way - I see all of these symbols below - and also on the editing pages - for wiki markup and symbols and characters. pardon the expression - but it all looks greek to me. Are we supposed to know how to use all of that? Also the "sign your Username - only seems to put a squiggly line. I'll try it at the end of this - to see if it does anything.
Okay - thanks again for your help.
Joel Peck

Hiya. Yeah, I suppose I've been rather lazy in informing authors about proposed deletions - I'll try and remember in future :-) CultureDrone (talk) 20:03, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Hello. I thought that your edit was a harmless edit. But in my opinions, I thought that the older edit was better. But I have noticed that I have made an accidental revert and a good fiath edit. I just knew that the revert was not vandalism. I hope you understand.--RyRy5 (talk) 23:56, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
You removed material I inserted into the 9 queens page. This non-profit is a national organization founded by an internationally recognized chess grand master. This organization is impacting the lives of hundreds of children and certainly deserves a Wiki Page. I believe it was inappropriate for you to delete it or undo my edits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by A guy in tucson (talk • contribs) 16:41, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
HI I am wondering why you had to edit my page? and use the same references I used. This was an extra credit assignment that my prof Gave out for us to do If you were going to re-do the page why not Use your own references? Now I have to go and re-do my assignment because of you thanks a million! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Selmakhan (talk • contribs) 03:53, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Actually, let me clarify this was supposed to be an assignment where we add a parasite that isn't found here on WIkipedia, I am not good with designing webpages but I listed references and gave very solid information on this particular species
You can contact me at selshadow22@yahoo.com,, as I do not have a wiki user page, thanks Now I will have to re-do a new parasite or edit your information for credit on this assignment —Preceding unsigned comment added by Selmakhan (talk • contribs) 04:02, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi Victor, thanks for the message about replacing content. I encountered a factual conflict between a general source (Catholic Encyclopedia) and a discipline-specific source (Grove's Dictionary of Music and Musicians), and chose the discipline-specific one for my upgrade to the original stub. I indicated this in the change summary. Please tell me more specifically what I should have done.
Perhaps you know the answer to another problem I had: there is a nice picture of Choron in the French article, and I would like the same picture to appear in my English translation. How do I construct an image statement to do this?
Many thanks for your advice. Bev (bmwilcox) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bmwilcox (talk • contribs) 20:10, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello, I noticed you altered the dates on the Alianore de Lovayne article from The British style (day before month sans comma year) to the American style. Normally, for a British (or in her case English)person , the British style is used. Thank you.jeanne (talk) 06:44, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, Victor, now I understand what I did (it was an accident) and I will be more careful in the future. I appreciate your help and advice. Bev Bmwilcox (talk) 18:20, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi, the article states that this is one of five villages of Tinharé. In its present form, this article does not constitute notability, IMO. May I suggest to create the main article Tinharé and then merging any useful information present in this article into the main island article. In my opinion it will be better to maintain the geography of a small island within a single article, i.e. Tinharé instead of creating articles on all the individual villages present in that island. Hi. Re your tagging of this article for deletion - I thought WP:MUSIC recommended changing the article to a redirect to the album (if an article existed), or the artist ? :-) CultureDrone (talk) 07:11, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Thankyou for editing and brushing up the article on 707 Operations

Hey VL, I saw you put a User Warning tag on my talk page for my edits to Alliance Capital Management Holdings, and partially reverted those edits. I had deleted the category Category:Companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange from that article; the company is NOT listed on that or any other stock exchange. Accordingly, I am going to re-remove the erroneous category and re-add the Uncategorized template from that article.
Also, I am sure it was in good faith, but I don't think user warning tags are the best way to engage fellow editors. UnitedStatesian (talk) 12:47, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
