I'm contacting you because you are listed as a participant at the Magic WikiProject. There is a draft for a new version of the main project page up for discussion and I would welcome your comments or suggestions. I wrote the draft because I was encouraged to try to do something to breathe some life back into the project and also to address some long standing problems that seem to dog it. The draft is posted at Wikipedia:WikiProject Magic/draft magic project page. Since starting to edit at Wikipedia in February I've contributed 25 new articles to the Magic project and added material to many more. I would really like to see this thing get going again but I need at least a few people to give some sign of encouragement if I am to continue. Thanks for uploading Image:Munster High School.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:08, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi! As a member of the Wiki magic project, I thought you might be interested in contributing to a discussion about magical secrets on Wikipedia. There has already been agreement as to the removing of unsourced magic secrets, as detailed here. However, I think consensus needs to be reached as to what should be done after the secrets are removed. Should the secret be placed on the talk page? Or is just a comment as to why the secret was removed sufficient? The discussion is taking place at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Magic#Removing the method - what next?, and if you are able to take part, that would be great.

Hello VerballyInsane,
I saw you were looking into adoption! I'd like to offer myself to help you out! Being an experienced editor, with several successful articles and many edits, I thought I would be a good choice! I love to work with new users; they have so much potential! I know how it feels to be a newbie in the ever so confusing Wikipedia. I'm working on a New Users program and I would be so happy to work with you. Before you accept, you might want to look over the adoption guidelines and understand:
There are many benefits to adoption and I'm glad you'd like to get involved. If you're interested, please drop me a line!

It seems you're away from Wikipedia. I sure hope it's temporary, so drop me a line when you get back. If you don't return, I understand, however, I invite you to finish up the adoption program and have some fun editing. Sincerely, mono 00:33, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Sorry about that, my internet must have been screwy or something. When I clicked on the link for every reference, I got a "page not found" or some variation therein. My apologies. ALI nom nom 20:03, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Sorry to have supplanted your PROD tag; I found this was a group of entries about the same non-notable web content and figured I might as well delete the group all at once. I think we agreed about the ultimate destination, but I apologize for overruling your sensible judgment about the path. Accounting4Taste:talk 22:20, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Mono has given you a Cheeseburger! Cheeseburgers promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a Cheeseburger, whether it be someone you've had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy eating!

Not only do I agree that bullets are better (in {{New editor advice}}), that was my intention, and I'm embarrassed that I totally missed it was not converting * to bullet. It was my first template, and I was struggling to see how they worked, and missed the improper rendering.
FYI, I also made a shorter version {{NEA}}, which originally invoked the full length name, but I couldn't quite get it to work properly, so I hard-coded it. I made the change there as well. Thanks.--SPhilbrickT 21:04, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:Munster High School.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hi VI. In case you are not aware, there is an upcoming campaign to improve coverage of LGBT-related topics on Wikipedia, culminating with an international edit-a-thon on June 21. See Wiki Loves Pride 2014 for more information. If you are interested, you might consider creating a page for a major city (or cities!) near you, with a list of LGBT-related articles that need to be created or improved. This would be a tremendous help to Wikipedia and coverage of LGBT culture and history. Thanks for your consideration, and please let me know if you have any questions! --Another Believer (Talk) 16:53, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.
We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.
More information, and registration details, at QW2021.--Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group 03:00, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
