Hello, I hope you're doing fine and I sincerely apologize for this intrusion. I've just read your profile and since you're Welsh I suppose you know very well what are a minorized language and culture and maybe I am not bothering you and you will help us... I'm a member of a Catalan association "Amical de la Viquipèdia" which is trying to get some recognition as a Catalan Chapter but this hasn't been approved up to this moment because Catalan is not supported by a state even though our Association is working real hard. We would appreciate your support, visible if you stick this on your first page: Wikimedia CAT. Thanks again, wishing you a great summer, take care! Capsot (talk) 20:42, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
I've been keeping an eye on the vandalism at Eddy Temple Morris and related edits at James Hyman (often making the same accusations. It looks like the Eddy TM page may need protection and it is close to requiring a check user on a number of iffy looking accounts, see Talk: Eddy Temple-Morris for my thoughts, I'd value a second opinion and you are the other editor keeping a close eye on things. Hi Ticketman
You will notice that I have twice revoked a "spelling correction" that you made to Tugela River. If you look carefully at the text that was "corrected", you will notice that it is part of the title of a book that was written in Afrikaans. I notice from your user page that you are Welsh, so you must be fully aware of the tensions within a bilingual country. I came from South Africa, a country which was also bilingual (English and Afrikaans). I am able to read, write and speak both (I trust that you can do the same with Welsh!). I lived in the town of Colenso for a number of years, a town which is on the Tugela River, hence my interest in the article. Martinvl (talk) 12:14, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
