Hello The Herald. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Pass of Brander, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to geographical features or populated places. Thank you. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 07:00, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi Herald, or should I say The Herald? I hope I am posting this in the right place. Please excuse me if I am not, I have not so much experience yet with Wiki. Could you give me some help how to improve the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Mandali_Mendrilla I thought she was notable, she translated the Ramayana for the first time ever in Croatian, and won many prices for her designs, in other words, she is a notable translator and designer. I also thought I gave enough references. Which things you would like to see referenced as well? Or perhaps I should delete some stuff that I cannot reference. Thank you for helping me, improve my article, sincerely Madhu Gopal (talk) 13:45, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

Hello, Herald.
I got a message from you on Friday.
"Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Planets Under Attack. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards. If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. The Herald 12:24, 14 November 2014 (UTC)"
Could you please explain me what exactly did I wrong? I represent Targem Games company which is a developer of this game and we own our pictures (as I understood right, the pics you deleted were a problem). So what should I do to add our pictures to our games?
Thank you in advance
Best regards
Tatiana Sinenkaia community manager tatyana_s@office.targem.ru http://www.targem.ru/en/
A tag has been placed on File:Late Night Tales Presents After Dark audio cover.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello The Herald. This message is part of a mass mailing to people who appear active in reviewing articles for creation submissions. First of all, thank you for taking part in this important work! I'm sorry this message is a form letter – it really was the only way I could think of to covey the issue economically. Of course, this also means that I have not looked to see whether the matter is applicable to you in particular.
The issue is in rather large numbers of copyright violations ("copyvios") making their way through AfC reviews without being detected (even when easy to check, and even when hallmarks of copyvios in the text that should have invited a check, were glaring). A second issue is the correct method of dealing with them when discovered.
If you don't do so already, I'd like to ask for your to help with this problem by taking on the practice of performing a copyvio check as the first step in any AfC review. The most basic method is to simply copy a unique but small portion of text from the draft body and run it through a search engine in quotation marks. Trying this from two different paragraphs is recommended. (If you have any question about whether the text was copied from the draft, rather than the other way around (a "backwards copyvio"), the Wayback Machine is very useful for sussing that out.)
If you do find a copyright violation, please do not decline the draft on that basis. Copyright violations need to be dealt with immediately as they may harm those whose content is being used and expose Wikipedia to potential legal liability. If the draft is substantially a copyvio, and there's no non-infringing version to revert to, please mark the page for speedy deletion right away using {{db-g12|url=URL of source}}. If there is an assertion of permission, please replace the draft article's content with {{subst:copyvio|url=URL of source}}.
Some of the more obvious indicia of a copyvio are use of the first person ("we/our/us..."), phrases like "this site", or apparent artifacts of content written for somewhere else ("top", "go to top", "next page", "click here", use of smartquotes, etc.); inappropriate tone of voice, such as an overly informal tone or a very slanted marketing voice with weasel words; including intellectual property symbols (™,®); and blocks of text being added all at once in a finished form with no misspellings or other errors.
I hope this message finds you well and thanks again you for your efforts in this area. Best regards--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 02:20, 18 November 2014 (UTC).

I've removed the lead image, not because it's not a great lead image, but because that'll be in next week's FC, not the one in prep. We pushed FC back a week so that we, at least in theory, have a whole week to work on it. =) Adam Cuerden (talk) 17:39, 18 November 2014 (UTC)

Heh. Just noticed: You've done all of next week's FAs by accident as well as this week's. We shifted FC because having the lists complete on Sunday, then having to get the FC ready for Wednesday was getting to be a pain. It didn't solve ALL the problems, but... =)
