Thanks for uploading File:Stamp Ranganathananda 2008.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Hi, I am reviewing your article Ramprasad Sen for GA. It is an interesting article. I have left some questions at Talk:Ramprasad Sen/GA2 and have meanwhile placed the article on hold. Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 23:31, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

I have updated Britannica's online quote on Lingam. Please check to confirm that I have entered the quote correctly. There it is mentioned:

Essay tag not required for S.N.Balagangadhara. No O.R. expressed there. Acclaims are criticisms of various writers are mentioned which are properly footnoted. fodderlinks (talk) 12.45, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

I noticed you reverted some anon's comment/edit, the edit is not exactly vandalism. Actually I quite agree with his/her point. There is inconsistency in rating of WikiProject Hinduism about regional deities. What do you think? --Redtigerxyz Talk 11:19, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
I have nominated the article for GA, please take a look and suggest any improvements needed. I do not a jstor account. Is it possible for you to search jstor for article related to Kanhopatra (kanhupatra). --Redtigerxyz Talk 07:10, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Point 6 should be Gopalakrishna, misspelt--Redtigerxyz Talk 17:14, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Sorry to poke my nose in this, but I stumbled across this. One thing I noticed is that Dakshineswar Temple Banglapedia link is dead. दक्षिनेश्वर is spelt inaccurately. --Redtigerxyz Talk 16:10, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
Please comment about Kanhopatra, in in consideration FA criteria. Thanks. --Redtigerxyz Talk 05:41, 6 November 2009 (UTC) Wow, it looks great, crop a bit. Though I have some suggestions:
Hi. I tried to enlarge the first photo on the page and lost it within my edits. Can you go and reverse my edits (but in the last one I caught a misspelling which can be corrected again if that edit is reverted as well). Maybe you can enlarge the photo a bit if you think it's appropriate. Thanks Randy Kryn (talk) 23:32, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi, about the press source you pointed out: there are similar descriptions of SB (almost with the same words) in other sources cited in the KC article. However, IMHO these sources are not enough to support a Wikipedia article. For one thing, there is a good chance that the reporter of the source you cited did not interview SB but instead got his opinions from some other book or article. Methinks that we need at least one source that can be trusted, such as a university's official website, an academic society's membership list, a biography in an academic journal, etc.. In other words, a source where any incorrect statements about SB are likely to bring trouble for the source or for SB. ALl the best, --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 13:13, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
The Mandarin, I would like to help, but unfortunately, I don't know much in this area. I felt that it is important to add because many Hindus pray to Hanuman to alleviate effects of Saturn. Let's see if I can find something. We owe this to Shri Hanuman. Raj2004 (talk) 14:43, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
I did check some sources on Google Books; I didn't find any particular section that was helpful yet/
Raj2004 (talk) 14:48, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Citations I found some. I asked ArbitrailyO, to fix the citations with this message to him:
I am editing the article on Hanuman. Can you please remove footnotes 15 and 17 referring to Catherine Ludvik without destroying footnotes 14 and 17 referring to Philip Lutgendorf? Also I would like to actually insert this correct page link at pg. 141, " http://books.google.com/books?id=fVFC2Nx-LP8C&pg=PT155&dq=hanuman+shani+Ravana&cd=1#v=onepage&q=hanuman%20shani%20Ravana&f=false "

For the barnstar. I have to wonder about all the time/effort spent on people's proposals/reasoning on that page - if that had been used on the unref'd BLPs, we'd be down to about 20,000! I did my bit today by ref'ing the article for legendary film director Jacques Rivette. Lugnuts (talk) 19:01, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

The planets are not affecting me, for your information. But some Hindus do believe that ups and downs in life are linked to planetary influences, which they believe are tied to past karma. You can criticize the academic source, that's okay, but nothing is wrong with me. Thank you. Raj2004 (talk) 21:18, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
No, you did not. I knew it was a joke but I am just writing on a belief of some Hindus who believe in this and added this info Since astrology is not scientific, no one can every know whether their beliefs are true or false. Raj2004 (talk) 03:21, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi TheMandarin! I saw that you previously nominated the image Battle at Lanka as a valued picture and it was not promoted for lack of quorum. I think is indeed a valued image and I would like to suggest to re-nominate it, as currently four supports would be sufficient for promotion. If you have time, your oppinion on the other current nominations would be also appreciated. Elekhh (talk) 22:43, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Positive reinforcement for Avadhuta Gita is lovely but where is my bloody barnstar! I am only in this gig for the accolade, public acclaim and limitless wealth. I am not finished yet, this is just a beginning. Collaboration is more than welcome by an inclusionist. If you have some leverage with any of the Dharmic Traditions task forces, is it possible to give the article on Brahma a bit of lovin'? At minimum just flagging it's refinement for a giddy-up as it is in such a sorry state.

Hi, I thought that I would let you know that a claim which you made with this edit has failed verification. I have corrected the claim so that it adheres to what is contained in the cited source. Best wishes, — goethean ॐ 15:19, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:00, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Hello, Mandarin. Just to say, I admire your patience in dealing with a certain editor on the Ramakrishna etc. pages. If you look at his talk page, you find he's argumentative at many places, often insulting etc, and has even been blocked several times. I guess there's nothing to do but forbear, or else put warning after warning and finally have him blocked... On his user page, he insults Ramakrishna devotees at the very top of the page! Oh, my patience is tried. The irony is, he calls others narrow minded fanatics, and fails to see his own narrow-minded fanaticism. I suppose that's the problem for all of us: we easily see other's faults, not our own. Probably he will read this; if so,G, realize that your actions not only poison the usually civil atmosphere at Wikipedia, but also poison your own heart with the venom of anger and hatred.
