There is a discussion here about whether the words “highly autonomous” should be removed from the opening sentence of the article.
The current opening sentence reads:
“ | Hong Kong, officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, is a highly autonomous territory of the People's Republic of China, facing Guangdong to the north and the South China Sea to the east, west and south. Hong Kong is a global metropolitan and international financial centre, and has a highly developed capitalist economy. | ” |
