Hi I am a good friend of Julia's daughter and she is curious about how you came to write the Wikipedia article about her mother? She says to thank you for including her and to get in touch if you want more information, updates, or etc. SuzanneSowinska (talk) 02:47, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
SuzanneSowinska I cannot answer the question. Typically I discover my next article by writing about someone else who mentions them, or from various editathons that Women in Red (WIR) sponsors monthly. The group WIR was organized to write women back into the encyclopedic record and monthly chooses a category — women writers, women scientists, etc. — for a focus. I write a lot of articles, so it is hard to remember how I decided to write about each one, but I never write about anyone whose story I did not find fascinating and who is someone I wanted to learn about. For me, writing is as much about my own learning as it is about imparting information to a reader. If sources (newspaper clippings, magazine articles, etc.) are available to improve the article, I am always happy to add information and would be glad to speak with Julia's daughter. On my page, on the left-hand side is a link that says "Email this user". She (or you) can use that to send me a message to discuss improvements further. SusunW (talk) 13:13, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
THX. I sent this on to her. SuzanneSowinska (talk) 19:37, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
I noticed you’re a member of the Women in Red Wikiproject. I thought you might be interested in a proposal to update the article about former Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan Talk:Jenny Durkan#Proposals September 2022. I have a conflict of interest, since I have a personal connection to Durkan. Would you have time to do a review? 1920sportsfan (talk) 20:17, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
1920sportsfan sorry but I rarely ever work on living people and I definitely avoid writing about US political figures unless they are dead. SusunW (talk) 20:53, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
Congratulations, SusunW! The article you nominated, Eunice Newton Foote, has been promoted to featured status, recognizing it as one of the best articles on Wikipedia. The nomination discussion has been archived. This is a rare accomplishment and you should be proud. If you would like, you may nominate it to appear on the Main page as Today's featured article. Keep up the great work! Cheers, IanRose(talk) via FACBot (talk) 00:05, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
Just noticed this. Congratulations!--Ipigott (talk) 13:38, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
Thanks Ipigott. It would not have been possible without your help. The science, was hard for me. I'm working on another woman scientist, which I will need help with when I am done. SusunW (talk) 13:56, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
Just let me know when you want me to take a look.--Ipigott (talk) 14:43, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you so much! It'll be a while. It's mostly French sources. My worst language, but I'm working through them, slowly. SusunW (talk) 14:56, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
Fantastic work promoting Enriqueta Legorreta to GA and DYK. One of the finest articles I've seen on the main page. Congrats! MX (✉ • ✎) 05:56, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
MX glad you enjoyed it. I really learned a lot writing about her. Fascinating life. SusunW (talk) 13:57, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

On 17 November 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Enriqueta Legorreta, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Enriqueta Legorreta(pictured), who was the first Mexican woman to appear as Sieglinde in Wagner's Die Walküre, became an award-winning environmental activist? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Enriqueta Legorreta. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Enriqueta Legorreta), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
Thank you for the article, done in collaboration. It's also featured on Project Opera's talk, and archived in that project's two DYK records. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:55, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
I cannot say enough how much I appreciate you, Ian, Aza24 and George for helping with it. It takes a village to create an article that is informative and in context, IMO. I am thankful for my networks! SusunW (talk) 15:18, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
We are definitely a productive village. Thank you for Bach, I love his music. I know it is well past harvest festival in Germany, but I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving too. SusunW (talk) 13:56, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
I just looked up this sinfonia (from the cantata mentioned) which might be good for you as well --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:50, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

Apropos of your comment at the FAC for Eunice Newton Foote, I often find it useful to copy and paste from the Wikipedia article page (not the editing page, but the page itself) into Microsoft Word and then run search and replace for inverted commas etc. When I review any article for GA or FA I always copy and paste it into Word and run the Word spell and grammar check, too. You may possibly find this a useful shortcut. Happy editing! Tim riley talk 11:47, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Tim riley That is brilliant. Is there a setting on word that will recognize curly vs straight quote marks and apostrophes? Hmmm, I'll need to play with that some. Thank you. SusunW (talk) 14:56, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Drives me barmy when I have to shift to and from Real-World settings to Wikipedia settings. In Word it takes ten clicks from File - Options - Proofing - AutoCorrect - and then AutoCorrect and also AutoFormat as You Type, and then uncheck the smart quote options for both. I leave them set at off most of the time, except when typing a Word document I want to be seen as posh. Once you have turned off smart quotes, find and replace single or double inverted commas with, er, single or double inverted commas will weed out any of the curly offenders. I hope (not entirely confidently) I make myself clear. Good luck! Tim riley talk 15:07, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Tim riley Yes, absolutely formatting drives me crazy on here too. I am a writer, not a technician. I am always reaching out to someone to help me with templates, coding, etc. I understand why it was that way in the beginning, but not why it still is that one must be a coder to write an article. Don't even get me started on the search functions. Much easier to just search in google and find a WP article than to search on WP itself. *sigh* I shall play with Word and see if I can figure out how to turn off smart quotes. That will be helpful. SusunW (talk) 15:15, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Splendid, and good luck! I chuckled at your frustration but I'm sure you'll beat the technology into submission. Meanwhile, I should consider it a favour if you pinged me when your next FAC is up for review. After the stellar Foote I should hate to miss one. Tim riley talk 15:24, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Wow! Thank you, Tim riley, I am humbled. In truth, FA still scares me, and usually requires a lot of pushing from Gog the Mild for me to nominate something. This one was the first one I was confident in nominating without his pressing me to do so. So, that is progress in a way. SusunW (talk) 15:39, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Gog is a superstar and sweetheart, though I have to slap him from time to time. With him and now me as your guardian angels and, I'm sure, more to come, you must not be shy of FAC. Onward and upward! Tim riley talk 16:00, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Really Tim! I thought that was our secret. Gog the Mild (talk) 19:01, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
I think I have never slapped him except with brilliant Southernese sarcasm. But yes, he is a jewel. I am genuinely appreciative of his, and your, guidance. SusunW (talk) 16:04, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Susun writes superb and sorely needed articles and I intermittently bully her into nominating some for FA. Entirely for her own good you understand. And to give FAC a patina of class. Gog the Mild (talk) 19:08, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
You do make me smile Gog. And you don't seem a bully, ever, just a bit cheeky and pushy on occasion, both of which I find amusing. I appreciate you all the more because of it. SusunW (talk) 19:58, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Next time Gog and I are together, which occurs from time to time (with other Wikipedians), we shall raise a glass to you. If, perchance, you can join us (central London), please do. Tim riley talk 20:15, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Indeed we shall. In between the slapping. So, to be cheeky and pushy, what is the next treat you have in store for FAC? Gog the Mild (talk) 20:20, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
@Tim riley and Gog the Mild: I'd love to do that, and would be willing to even deal with the frigid temperatures (i.e. anything below 28C in my book), but it's a wee bit of a walk from Mérida, Yucatán. As for FA, perhaps a collaboration? SusunW (talk) 20:30, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
With luck that'll be there in the not-too-distant future:) I rewrote it a couple years ago, so what's there is good, detail is yet lacking... Vanamonde (Talk) 20:39, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Susun, I'm largely done tinkering with Theodora Kroeber, though I want to sleep on it before I expand the lead. I've been through every scholarly source I could find, which was a lot of sources with brief usable excerpts...Would you take a look? I moved a couple of your additions around, though I didn't remove anything I believe. @Tim riley:, since you offered above, may I be so bold as to ask if you'd take a look at it before we send it to FAC? Gog, if you're watching, we'd welcome your feedback too, I just happened to notice you said you're snowed under. Vanamonde (Talk) 04:39, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
Vanamonde I think it looks fine. The only query I still have outstanding, I think, is placement of the 1964 book. Movie scripts are often drawn from literature, but rarely from academia. I reviewed the sources and neither say which book, just based upon her book about Ishi. (Same as every source I just pulled up.) But it seem logical to me, given the similarity of the names of the book Ishi: Last of His Tribe and the movie Ishi: The Last of His Tribe that the movie derives from the children's book. If there isn't a source which specifies which book, I would probably put the 1964 book discussion before the movie discussion. But, that's nitpicking. SusunW (talk) 14:33, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
That's a fair point. I personally think it's unlikely to have been the children's book; the original sold widely, the "last of his tribe" label was tossed around a lot (to the point where recent reviews comment on it), and there would be no reason to use the children's version. That said, the sources don't specify. So I've moved it to be in chronological order, and tweaked the sentence about the movie to say the "story" rather than the book. Vanamonde (Talk) 15:04, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
As I said, it was a nitpick, and I couldn't find any source that actually said, but chronological seems to make sense. SusunW (talk) 15:11, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
This passed when I was busy at work, and I just caught up enough to notice. A pleasure working with you! Vanamonde (Talk) 23:50, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
Vanamonde Yes, I am just seeing this now. My computer is finally back home and I am in some state of normalcy. It was fun. SusunW (talk) 15:44, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
It was indeed. Glad to hear you're back to normal! Vanamonde (Talk) 16:55, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

Are you by any chance working on Olga Misař? I see she's mentioned as Olga Misar in Women at the Hague. There's a short article in German which provides some basic info. I could make a start on this unless you would like to do so yourself.--Ipigott (talk) 12:10, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
Ipigott I want to really badly but I cannot find that new book about her. So please go ahead. SusunW (talk) 15:00, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
SusunW: Thanks. Today I'll start writing about Adrienne van Melle-Hermans who also seems to deserve an article. Maybe Olga Misař tomorrow.--Ipigott (talk) 15:07, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
Cool. I'm working on Yella Hertzka. I have wondered for some time if she and Misař bumped into each other during their exile. SusunW (talk) 15:09, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
Yella Hertzka seems to be coming along very well. This biography of Misař informs us that in the 1920s she collaborated with Misař and others at the Austrian branch of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. It also tells us that the two did indeed regularly meet during their exile in England. I'll try to make a start on Misař today.--Ipigott (talk) 13:00, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
Can you help me find the full version of this JSTOR articel on Misař? I thought I could access it through the Wikipedia library but the search did not work.--Ipigott (talk) 13:22, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
That's so weird, Ipigott as I accessed it through the WP library. I've e-mailed it to you. SusunW (talk) 15:21, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
Thanks very much. It's arrived safely and looks pertinent. I'll continue expanding Olga tomorrow.--Ipigott (talk) 15:29, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
Glad that worked. It's kinda fun doing these two at the same time, as if you've seen my draft, I've already mentioned Misař. It may be that you will run across sources I have not and vice versa, for instance, Misař and Leopoldine Kulka were the first two Austrian representatives for WILPF. I will look to your article to learn about them in England. SusunW (talk) 15:35, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
Ipigott I found Hertzka in volume 1 and took a chance that Misař was in volume 2 of biografiA. She is p 2266 which is p 852 of the pdf. SusunW (talk) 17:17, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
Ipigott I finished Yella Hertzka and have asked George to help with a few more images. If you have time, could you give it a copyedit? I appreciate you! SusunW (talk) 20:11, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
I had a quick look through Hertzka yesterday and was impressed with the amount of detail you have managed to include. I'll go through it more carefully today. You might be interested to hear I am now working on Else Zeuthen who was redlinked in Danske Kvinders Fredskæde.--Ipigott (talk) 06:34, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Yella Hertzka done. I've been through it quite carefully, working mainly on the language. I'm a little bit concerned by the mixture of "congress" and "conference" for the same event. I think I've sorted things out now but there is often a technical difference between the two and I'm not sure they are interchangeable. The article looks to me as if it could now be nominated for GA.--Ipigott (talk) 11:46, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Good to know Ipigott}. I see that you have used event, which gives me an alternative to avoid redundancy. Thank you for your help, as I firmly believe your improvements are always helpful. I guess I focus on details because I write to learn. When the details of someone's life don't help me understand the context, I look for sources which clarify the perspective, if that makes sense. (It's why I am genetically unable to write a stub, I think. The context for understanding is missing.) As soon as George has time to look at the photos, I'll nominate it. Zeuthen looks good. I am really enjoying this annual focus. SusunW (talk) 14:34, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Well as you can see, compared to your masterpieces, Zeuthen is pretty stubby but I think it's important to provide at least basic details of the now largely forgotten women who contributed to the cause. You are of course welcome to expand any of my contributions you think deserve more attention. I've been trying to add at least one new peace activist each day as I was the one who suggested Peace as our year-long initiative. I'm happy to see we have a number of other keen contributors, including Rosiestep, BostonMensa, Newklear007 and of course Penny Richards. Let's hope we can maintain the momentum.--Ipigott (talk) 15:14, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
It's a great initiative subject, Ipigott, no shortage of bios to write (mainly because peace women tend to be involved in other causes, and write, and teach, and leave excellent paper trails...). Penny Richards (talk) 16:58, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Exactly Penny Richards! Intersectionality is always fascinating to me. SusunW (talk) 17:09, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
(editing conflict) Ditto what Penny just said. Happy to be discovering these women myself and adding them to EN-WP. For now, doing translations from FR-WP, and will move to ES-WP translations thereafter. Whether it's a short bio or a detailed one, writing about them and linking them (for findability) will make 2023 a better year. --Rosiestep (talk) 17:10, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Do you do German, Rosiestep? I just added Helene Scheu-Riesz to this list. She sounds fascinating, WILPF member, writer and publisher. SusunW (talk) 17:16, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Wish I did, but I don't.:( --Rosiestep (talk) 21:51, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
I see there are a number of interesting names on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Women_in_Red/Peace. I'll have a go at Helene Scheu-Riesz when I've finished with my Danes. Thanks for all the links, Susun, although it looks as if I am still having problems with the Wikipedia library. Let me know, Rosiestep, if you need any help with your Spanish speakers.--Ipigott (talk) 06:48, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
Ipigott Cool! The German article doesn't talk much about her activism, so I tried to pull links that did. Let me know if you need anything from the library and I'll try. I have to resign in every time I use the WPLibrary. No idea why it won't keep me signed in. SusunW (talk) 15:13, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
Don't worry. There's lots of material. Working on it now.--Ipigott (talk) 15:18, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
Helene Scheu-Riesz
In line with your suggestion, Susun, I have put something together on Helene Scheu-Riesz. I am not too happy with the result as there are so many contradictions in the sources. Many tell us she was a university graduate either in law or English while others tell us she was not. References to her activities in the WILPF and the international women's movement are hard to find although she seems to have been active for many years. Even the photo of the 1921 WILPF conference was wrongly assigned to Geneva instead of Vienna. (In general, it seems to me we have far too little info on these later meetings which were admittedly not too important but could provide important background on key players.) I thought the biography by Christiane Dreher looked particularly interesting but was unable to access the full version. It would be good if you could find time to look at the emerging biography as it seems to me that Scheu-Riesz was a more important contributor to the peace movement and women's rights in general than generally recognized. Thanks anyway for linking to many useful sources.--Ipigott (talk) 14:08, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
Ipigott one of the reasons I use newspapers so often as they give a more rounded presentation of the person. Writers of articles always seem to focus on one aspect without the others. There's a ton of stuff here. I'll go through it and see what I can add. May have to ask you for help if I get confused on the translations. I've sent you the Dreher piece from the WP. library via e-mail. When I went directly to the De Gruyter tab and access their search, a bunch of things come up. Don't know if you have seen them. SusunW (talk) 14:43, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
So far haven't found much of use, but this photo is pretty good. And this is curious..."Frau Dr. Helene Scheu-Riesz"... no idea what that means. SusunW (talk) 15:25, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
I think my problem is that I need a three-week introductory course on how to use Wikipedia library (unless there happens to be useful a useful set of guidelines somewhere). For example, when I add an article I have found to Wikipedia library search, it tells me nothing can be found. I often find lots of other stuff and waste a half hour finding that none of it is pertinent. Thanks anyway for sending the missing piece. I remember that years ago Dr. Blofeld sent me public library info which I could use in such cases but like so much else, it's lost in the archives. Maybe you can improve the biography on the basis of your newspaper searches. I'm now working on a very short bio on Margarethe Jodl who became redlinked.--Ipigott (talk) 15:36, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
My rule of thumb, the top search bar isn't connected to all of the collection, so if I know the specific collection I scroll to it, access it directly and search there. SusunW (talk) 15:53, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
I must have completely misunderstood how to use Wikipedia library. If I search on Helene Scheu-Riesz Christiane Dreher, I get this. If I make the same search on Google, this has the item I am looking for right at the top. Are there any instructions on how to make such searches on Wikipedia library? Sorry to waste your time on my incompetence but I find the whole thing very frustrating. I don't understand what you mean by the "top search bar"- How do you "scoll to the specific conntection" (and what is it here?). If we can sort this out, I can stop asking you to send my the stuff you manage to find on Wikipedia library.--Ipigott (talk) 17:17, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
The first search is dead (the problem with ESBCO links, they last for only a few minutes). My guess is that you searched at the top of the page in the box that says "Search the library". It returns only items from Ebsco, Proquest, Jstor, and Gale, in my experience. Beneath that bar are alphabetical "tiles" for various publishers. If you scroll down to De Gruyter and push the button that says "access collection" it will come up with a publisher specific search bar, which in this case says "search De Gruyter". If I input Helene Scheu-Riesz in that search bar, I get this (no clue if this will stay live long enough for you to see it). Does that help? SusunW (talk) 17:28, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
Yes, thanks. That worked by accessing De Gruyter in the tiles. But it means you have to know what you are looking for before you can start searching on Wikipedia library. It's much more complicated than I would have expected but I suppose I can first do a general search on Google and then try to find the applicable tile. Thanks for your help.--Ipigott (talk) 20:46, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
Ipigott, I haven't looked at the De Gruyter piece and instead have been working in some of the newspaper articles I found. I've also asked George about a couple of photos. I'll come back to it tomorrow, but if you want to add or change stuff, feel free. Since we are are different time zones, we probably won't be tripping over each other. SusunW (talk) 23:17, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
Your newspaper sources have really helped things along, especially the piece about the committee set up to publish cheap children's books in 1905. I see Scheu-Riesz also mentions the background in a later piece from an American paper. I've read the De Gruyter piece. It gives a very full and detailed account of her literary ventures and her own publications but provides virtually nothing on her other activities. That being the case, I think it would be more useful for you to continue work on the biography, perhaps improving how the sources are presented. I would be happy to look into any additional German newspaper sources you consider important. I'll now continue to work on other bios, etc. Thanks for all your help.--Ipigott (talk) 09:05, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
Ipigott, obviously there are many more clips I could use, but as an overview, I think it's fairly comprehensive now, except that I couldn't identify Karl Sipek Siebach. Maybe it's spelled wrong in the source? If you want to give it a once-over and if GRuban can get me those photos, I think it's ready to go for GA. SusunW (talk) 18:16, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
I've been through it once more. Now looks pretty good to me. Thanks for all your sources and additions.--Ipigott (talk) 11:14, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've Talk:Enriqueta Medellín/GA1begun reviewing the article Enriqueta Medellín you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of BennyOnTheLoose -- BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 16:21, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
The article Enriqueta Medellín you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Enriqueta Medellín for comments about the article, and Talk:Enriqueta Medellín/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Well done!--Ipigott (talk) 14:29, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
I came across this while searching for stuff on Ellen Palmstierna. It's not very clear as it seems to have been extracted from a report. I found it here on Runeberg where the text (see File:Scandinavian women in the Hague 1915.jpg) gives the names of the Swedes and explains that the women were meeting in Copenhagen before travelling to The Hague.--Ipigott (talk) 10:46, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
Good find! Frustrating that it's fuzzy. Underneath it says, modified for clarity by the names in the article: Elsie Hansen, Khmn (1); Elin Wägner, Sthlm (2); Ms. Emmilia Fogelclou (3); Baroness Ellen Palmstierna (4); Mrs. Astrid Stampa-Feddersen, Khmn (5); Ms. Mathilda Widegren, Sthlm (6): Mrs. Anna Holm, Nääs (7). But there are 1) way more women (17) in the photo than 7 and 2) it's unclear to me if the names are the seated women because there appear to be 8 seated (but maybe the 3rd from the left is on another row)? Three names appear in the article that aren't under the photo, but I have no clue if they are in the photo: Countess Anna Ruuth, Miss Anna Kleman, and Anna Lindhagen. Nevertheless, it's great that it identifies names and can be used in the Women at the Hague article. SusunW (talk) 14:29, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
Yes, I was also confused by the text. It's almost as if numbers which we can't see were added to the photo to identify the women. I've found another photo of the Swedish delegates here. If you click on the photo (half way down on the right), you'll see it is extremely clear and could no doubt be used for individual pictures if the individuals can be identified. Don't really know what to do with it.--Ipigott (talk) 16:07, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
I see the same photo is included in a detailed Idun article on the congress in Swedish which can be downloaded from here.--Ipigott (talk) 16:23, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
Can I just say this new format will take some getting used to. I do not yet comprehend it and am not sure that I like it. *sigh* Yes, that photo is fabulous! and usable on commons, as it was clearly published outside the US in 1915. But again, the text in the first link says there were fifteen delegates Nina Andersson, Emilia Fogelklou, Anna Glasell-Andersson, Emma Hansson, Anna Holm, Anna Kleman, Elisabeth Krey, Anna Lindhagen, Ellen Palmstierna, Gerda Planting-Gyllenbåga, Ruth Randall Edström, Anna Ruuth, Naima Sahlbom, Matilda Widegren and Elin Wägner, but there are only 12 women in the photo. I note in the Idun article is a photo of the Belgian delegation as well and it says Eugénie Hamer is the seated figure on the right. SusunW (talk) 16:49, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
As for the interface, I've gone back to the old one but I see that the French and Danish wikis continue to be displayed with the new 2022 interface. So the "skin" only works for English. As for the Swedes at 1915 The Hague, I'm sure I read somewhere there were 16 (although some appear not to have been official delegates) while our Women at the Hague says there were 12. We have articles on all those you mention except Anna Glasell-Andersson, Emma Hansson, Anna Holm, Elisabeth Krey and Anna Ruuth. There is a Swedish article on Elisabeth Krey-Lange and she has an SKBL biography. After I have covered Krey in English, it might therefore be useful to write an article on the Swedish involvement at 1915 The Hague and the follow-up in Sweden. There a lot more stuff on this at the Gothenburg University Library].--Ipigott (talk) 10:20, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
The 16 delegates are mentioned in this account. The additional one is Fernanda Hesselgren. This report also mentions Hesselgren and states that there were 16 delegates from Sweden.--Ipigott (talk) 10:55, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
Yes, I think we can add stuff to the Women at the Hague article, as we write these. I need to write the beginning and how it came about. SusunW (talk) 13:25, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
Today was mostly real life stuff in the way of work on here. I did manage to put a background section into the Women at the Hague article and info on the Belgian delegation. Rather than list all of the Dutch women who attended the February planning meeting, I put them in a note and was able to identify a lot of them, but not all of them. I'll see if I can input more tomorrow. SusunW (talk) 22:51, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
Ipigott I uploaded the Hamer photo from Idun and added a bit more to the Women of the Hague article. I certainly think it would benefit from additions about all of the delegations and photos, if we can find them. SusunW (talk) 18:34, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
what's up with the Google Drive links at Laura Bergt? Unless you can prove they're public domain articles it's a copyright violation. Therapyisgood (talk) 00:44, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for sharing your concern. It is a collaborative process, you can just fix things you think have issues. SusunW (talk) 14:43, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
