Hello there, today I changed a movie title typo from Caroline to Coraline, but you have labelled it as unconstructive, given me a warning, and undone the edit. Have I broken a rule? Hello, I'm new to Wikipedia in general, and talk pages in particular, so pardon me if I'm posting a message the wrong way. I deleted the last paragraph from the "History" topic of the Quranism article (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quranism). I'm sorry if I posted a reason which is considered "invalid". The reason why I deleted it was due to the invalid claim that the Ahlul Hadith interpretation of Islam completely rejects Taqlid, and the proof used for supporting this claim. As a follower of the Ahlul Hadith interpretation of Islam, I find this completely wrong. The citation given was from a book of an author who is not a scholar of the Ahlul Hadith sect, and clearly goes against the sayings of Ahlul Hadith scholars, check out this fatwa for example :(https://islamqa.info/en/21420), it contains several citations for sayings of Salafi (Ahlul Hadith) scholars. I'm sure there is no place for forgeries based on sectarian opposition in Wikipedia, and I think that it goes against the rules since it is false information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mzrboy88 (talk • contribs) 23:30, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi ThatGirlTayler,
I appreciate your efforts in WikiProject Spoken Wikipedia. However, I would prefer the recording I added, as it's the more common pronunciation (Briarcliff is usually said as one syllable, your pronunciation has two), as spoken by a notable resident of the village. As well, I feel the tone given in the pronunciation is more serious and therefore more in line with this formal encyclopedia, especially for a Featured Article. Lastly, your audio settings may need adjusting; the recording is not at a low volume by default. For these reasons, I am reverting your edit. ɱ (talk) · vbm · coi) 17:06, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
Do you think the user who has tried to remove the picture several times could have a close connection to Mook? Perhaps we could explain to them how to upload a new picture on Wikimedia Commons; they may not know.Zigzig20s (talk) 18:48, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

Girlly Girl, you need to use facts, not spin. Trump wanted a temporary block on immigration from SEVEN failed STATES--POLITIES WITHOUT A FUNCTIONAL GOVERNMENT that could reliably vett police records and such documents as are checked for anyone and everyone. SO learn to take in information from both sides so you can see the liars applying the spin... not single sources with agenda's pushing their own twist. When you repeat such, you are as bad, and imho, worse, if you are someone with the capacity to think for yourself and gather information. And... IF YOU EDIT HERE, I'd consider you can do that as a minimum or DON'T WANT YOU editing here at all. Work too hard for verifiability to put up with garbage thinkers. Just wanted to give you heads up that I've removed your warning on the IP's talk page because the edit wasn't actually vandalism. I did some checking and was able to verify that the player has in fact been released. Lepricavark (talk) 16:18, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
Can you explain what vandalism you were warning this new user about? It is very WP:BITE-y to post such a warning without giving some indication of what behavior you are warning about and where. If it was intended to be in connection to Draft:Shahzadpur, that article is in draftspace and vandalism warnings would not usually apply unless for blatant bad-faith edits. I see nothing in the user's edits on that page that would apply, only the normal attempts by a new user to start a geographical article. If it was for earlier edits (such as Sex-linked barring or Julie Ordon), then those were a day ago and not the type of ongoing vandalism the template is generally used for. I may have missed the edit that sparked your concern, so I look forward to your response. Thanks. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 17:59, 7 April 2017 (UTC)

Please refrain from repeatedly posting gigantic images on other's talk pages. Your edits appear to constitute an annoyance and have been removed. You may also want to review guidance at WP:DTTR. Posting canned warning templates on the talk pages of people who have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time, is generally considered to be in bad form, as is reposting comments on other's talk pages once they have been removed. TimothyJosephWood 16:49, 1 April 2017 (UTC)
Just wanted to let you know I reverted your assessment on the above article. It was reassessed per the request in February by a much more experienced editor than yourself and I agree completely with his assessment. There are way too many unreferenced items in the article to be above a C, along with a few issues regarding guidelines (both WP:MOS and the applicable content guideline, WP:USCITY).
Neither you nor Coffee, the editor that assessed it in February marked the request at the WikiProject United States as completed. If you're going to assess articles, please remember to do that. It would have saved us having this conversation if he would have. There's lots of work to do at WikiProject Schools if you ever get bored. Just drop me a note and I'll point you to some. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. G'day again mate, you've been doing good work responding to edit requests, however be aware that while clearing the request list is good, the ultimate objective is to help contribute to Wikipedia. It isn't really worth declining actioning something just because it's in the wrong area when it's a simple addition that wouldn't need further input (this case which I'd argue is in the correct spot anyway). Additionally, with the Prasanth_Manghat request, stuff like that is fine to stay, rather than XYing it considering it's pretty clear they were meaning to remove the COI(PAID) template that was on the page, and had also tagged other users. There isn't any harm in leaving an edit request open for others to respond to. Cheers — IVORK Discuss 01:07, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

Hello there! Just noticed you removed “Vishnu” and replaced it with “Shiva” in your edit over at the Kalki wiki article and the reason you gave was related to CE requesting or something along the lines of that.
Are you sure it was Shiva and not Vishnu that said it? Some citation would be nice. ShotgunMavericks ❯❯❯ ✉️ 11:57, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
I'm sorry to say, but you didn't change everything that I provided for this paragraph of text in the "Padma" section. Now you made it sound like Lord Shiva is referring to himself as Lord Narayana which he didn't in the book or the PDF I gave a link to. Lord Shiva is the who gave her the boon for her austerities and instructed her on how to worship Lord Hari which she later describes to Suka the parrot in a later chapter. Also, I noticed in the "The How to... series" info mistakes hasn't been fixed yet, I also request that stuff to be fixed too if that's ok. The part needs to be changed in it is Pinto Colvig's info on when he left and returned to Disney, as "1939" to "1938" and "1941" to 1940", that's all that needs to be changed. Please try to give a reason while doing any reverts. When you revert a change without describing any reason(other than just saying it is 'disruptive', which is a highly subjective term), it seems that you consider yourself by default superior to other editors. Also, regarding your advice about adding a content rather than replacing it in future - I didn't understand an iota of it! Why shouldn't I delete a content which I think is wrong? Again, this seems very condescending and assumes that somehow I am an 'inferior' editor who shouldn't be deleting existing content, and you are the superior one who is telling me to do that.
If you have taken my 'changes' personally, I would like to remind you that people(including me) don't have that much time in the world to first find out exactly whose content is it, which he/she is trying to delete/modify, before doing it. I just did it on a ad-hoc basis. I wasn't targeting you specifically, but you were/are when you 'revert' someone else's changes.

I added extra information on the above today and I thought I had provided a reference that would be acceptable as in death certificate. Yes I am new to this and maybe did not enter it correctly.
I did post references.... did you get them? death cert and grave site.
Hi,
Haha, I thought I hadn't saved my edit when I didn't see it on the page :)
I re-entered it, but it's not an edit war, just incompetence.
Idk of you saw my talk page entry ...? I list the source there.
The source is IMDB. I just assumed that that was ok, didn't check if IMDB is considered an RS either.
I am unregistered, but I've been trying to contribute my little share of input to W for years;
it jut doesn't show because "my number" changes every 8 months or so, so now "I" have only got these two edits to my "number" ...
After I made total hash of the layout over at the "Knots" page, I've tried to stick to what I can do, and avoid what I can but should not do, which is to ruin other people's labour. Hence my incomplete edit.
Anyway. Not all my shares are invested in mr. Sugino's page, and he may remain uncredited if that is important to you.

How did you manage to assume the "citation needed" I added was a test?
Hello I noticed that you are active on the above linked page and I'd like to draw your attention to this edit (per WP:APPNOTE), which I reverted and the editor reverted it back. My reasons were that I couldn't see new sources for the additional text, which was added. I may have made a mistake as the edit was contributed in many segments. I reverted it partly as a means of seeing the source as a whole when I noted that apparently no new sources had been introduced to support the new text. You can compare the revisions here here. The latest (current) one, is the version I'd like to discuss on the talk page. Many thanks. Edaham (talk) 00:11, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
Hey there. You edited my userpage mentioning you reverted my edit to that wiki page. I'm not sure how I could have made the edit summary more accurate, I reviewed the cited source that mentioned 6mg is a lethal dose for children and there was no mention in source whatsoever. Health Canada is introducing new regulations on vaping and I was researching the toxicity to make our products compliant with the CCCR2001 guidelines and was trying to find accurate information on nicotine. I removed an inaccurate statement to prevent any confusion for others doing the same. I appreciate the effort to stop vandalism though! God speed. 156.34.184.198 (talk) 22:28, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
