I'd be more than happy to help. Let's just say I want to put Image:Floyd 1999-09-14 2030Z (borderless).jpg on my user page. I could just type . The result of just doing this (which is shown here, BTW) is messy, though. This is why it is best to thumbnail the image. To do this, I type . This is the result:
If I want it thumbnailed to the left, rather than to the right, I type . The result of this is shown below.
Now let's just say I want to add a caption to the image. Let's also just say I want to make the caption "i am crud." For thumbnailing it to the right, I type . for thumbnailing the image and caption to the left, I type . Thumbnailing the image and caption tho the right produces this:
While thumbnailing the image and caption to the left produces this:

Thanks for uploading Image:Dwarf cookie is mine.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the image under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:38, 12 January 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 23:38, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
11 years old and already have a quote from Kant's Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics on your page...must be a Calvin and Hobbes fan, judging also by the reference to Cyclone Derkins. Anyways, perhaps when you get a little older, you should check out the book you quoted. Unless, of course, you know that we can know a priori the conditions which make experience possible, but never the laws which govern things in themselves. In which case you've done better than many a student of philosophy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.89.180.65 (talk) 06:27, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
