Hi Pika ten10,
I just wanted to stop by and let you know why I redirected your newly-created page to an existing one. I noticed on the talk page of the 2006 Pacific typhoon season article that you suggested this and, being bold, went ahead and did it.
While I am very happy you made that call, I simply have an alternate suggestion I would like to share with you here. Basically, take the new content you put together for the article you created (accessible here) and put it into the existing section. Continue to expand the existing section to the point where it absolutely dominates the article and then split it off into a new article. The reason for this is very simple: new articles don't get a whole lot of attention compared to existing ones. By making your edits in an existing space, you maximize the number of editors who will read, improve, and expand upon them. This, in turn, means you will have more people following the content when it is split off into a new article, which in turn improves the content there, and so on and so forth.
I hope you don't take this as a message not to be bold; you're certainly welcome to undo my redirect and continue on with making the article. Rather, I just wanted to ensure that valuable resources such as yourself are being used to their full potential.
Feel free to drop by with any questions or comments you may have. Happy editing! --jonny-mt(t)(c)Tell me what you think! 11:50, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Good Evening. I'm Tintin, male, from the Philippines. You know, I've just been recently editing some articles [i.e. the 2006 Pacific typhoon season and a "new aricle", Typhoon Cimaron (2006)]. To be more familiar with the editing and deletion policies here in Wikipedia (I think that you can update me of any editing new policies in Wikipedia), can you please adopt me?
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you may please see and put your message in my talk page. Thank you for reading this message. --Pika ten10 11:17, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Sorry if I couldn't talk with you these days. I've been especially busy of my school requirements, though I've been editing some more articles for grammatical errors or deleting a few nonsense words. Ah, I almost forgot... you can adopt me anytime. As of now, I don't have any questions but I'll approach you immediately if I do have. Thank you for replying, my dear friend...--Pika ten10 (talk) 12:33, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for adopting me... I may ask that can I write nothing to my "Edit Summary" box? You know, I always write a summary about my edits on a page, but that I think it just wastes my time, especially on a talk page. Please, I need your urgent reply... -Pika ten10 11:30, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Is the Wikipedia Signpost subscription free(i.e. you'll never pay anything)?? You know, I want to subscribe on the signpost! :) -Pika ten10 11:36, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Why is it important to wikify a page instead of using HTML??? -Pika ten10 (talk) 13:25, 13 December 2007 (UTC) I think people editing Wikipedia must be given freedom on what format to use in an article.
-Pika ten10 (talk) 13:28, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Thus it will be this: TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION 1
TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION 2
and so on...
Is this okay with you. Reply here...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

This is a FREE PAGE! You can talk to me here ANYTIME!
Thanks for the message, but I didn't update any PAGASA information. Maybe this is the person whom you wish to talk to. -- RattleMan (talk) 16:05, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Template:User Socialist|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I'll admit I was a bit shocked and offended. I'm not going to hold it against you, as it's not like you know me, but his views were so awful that I presumed that any sane person would condemn him, and so there didn't seem much point saying anything but "and, of course, I blocked him". I find his views vile, and would never support them. Adam Cuerden talk 03:54, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Can you please put an explaination of your reasoning on both talk pages. Kingjeff (talk) 05:33, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
Would you like to explain to me why you removed the redtags from this article?--mrg3105 (comms) If you're not taking any flak, you're not over the target. 12:22, 17 February 2008 (UTC) Are the red tags important??? -Pika ten10 (talk) 12:26, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
What that one who did that has done was linking, not redtagging. If you want to edit that so it would be redtagged, use the font tag with attribute color="red". OK??? Complaints??? Put it below...
Hey, just to let you know, I reverted your change to the aforementioned article. IMO, the previous version looks neater, and it's consistent with the other list articles. If you wish to change it, you could bring it up on the talk page. Cheers. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 02:19, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
How is the storm where you are? It just picked up here about 30 minutes ago after what is left of the eye passed just south of us and now we are getting the back side of the storm and have lost our protection from the mountains. Do you want to lead making the article for this storm? I am willing to do it, but I am not experienced at writing tropical cyclone articles. ludahai 魯大海 (talk) 07:24, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
I know Taiwan is hard-hit by the storm, but at least we say that my location is affected by the storm... Yesterday here was a day of almost unstoppable rain until night came, as the storm-intensified southwest monsoon (See it here...) brought us rain. (Oh thank God, the weather's improving here today...) Here is what shall we do: We'll make the effects of Fung-wong in Taiwan be the priority and we'll sideline the effects of the storm in the Philippines. Agree??? -Pika ten10 (talk) 07:38, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, pretty much all of the other button bars were redirected to the same place. The place where it was redirected to isn't much of the issue. It's to have just one talk page, as generally issues on the button bar will affect all buttons. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 02:16, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Dear Pika ten10,
Greetings!
As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 12, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.
Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.
Thank you and maraming salamat po!
Kind regards,

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Typhoon Cimaron(2006). Since you had some involvement with the Typhoon Cimaron(2006) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. B dash (talk) 09:18, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
