Hi there, I noticed you moved a template to Template:Fußball-Bundesliga (women) 2007-08. While I agree that the template name should reflect the name of the league as it is in wikipedia, please do not add season names to the templates. The templates are changed after every season. The reason for this is the following. If you had a new template for each season, you'd have to add it to the relevant club articles. In a little time, any club playing constantly at the same level would have dozens of league templates in its article. (E.g. Hamburger SV would have more than 40 Bundesliga templates) This is utterly impracticable. I'd therefore suggest you move the page to Template:Fußball-Bundesliga (women). It looks a lot better now. However, some paragraphs still go by uncited, including:
- "Since the 1920s the 1. FC Nuremberg"
- "These days Bayern considers itself a national club,"
- "Among the main advertising partners"
- Most of the "Training facility" section

I noticed you reverted a deletion on FC Bayern's wikipedia page. Do we know if Stephan Fürstner has been loaned out to any club like Christian Lell went to FFC Koeln or like Mats Hummels did to Burussia Dortmund? Kingjeff (talk) 17:48, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

There's nothing you can do to stop them deleting it, but on Sunday he will play a 3. Liga match, which passes notability, which means he won't be able to be deleted. ArtVandelay13 (talk) 09:05, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- I keep deleting the article since it was previously deleted via AFD (case: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Simon Ferry): the fact he is signed for Bayern Munich is not a proof of notability in itself, he must actually play a competitive game in order to be notable. Hofert and Rieß are not notable themselves for the same reason, so an AFD case about them can be easily opened as well. Just a head's up. I've been removing team logos placed in the finals sections of annual DFB Pokal summaries because they are being tagged as non-compliant use by an image police bot. I'd be happy to see them stay, but I don't want to have to mess perpetually with the image enforcers either. Images (including logos) need to have a fair use rationale attached to them when they are used in an article.

There's seems to be some confusion concerning Rickard Österberg's country. He's listed as a Swede at the list of Pro Tours and some parts of the 03-04 Pro Tour season where he's also listed as Norwegian. Hello Odin, as the person who has created many of the DFB Pokal season articles, I was wondering whether you could have a llok at German football championship 1933. We are still missing almost all articles on the championship seasons, which is almost a little embaressing. I was wondering, whether we could come up with a common format and then create them, piece by piece. Much of it I've copied from the German article, some I've added myself. - Thanks for your quick feed-back, its just what I was after. Regarding the various points you brought up:
- I will change the results to ndashes, thats easy.
- No, the flags are not necessary, I get rid of them as well.
- I will link aet, thats simple, too.
- Linking players that have played in a German final seems a good idea. Many of them would have played for Germany and therefore deserve an article, anyway. I think, I stick with this. With the referee its a different matter, propably will de-link him.
- I usually separate sources and references in my articles. In sources, I list all websites and books I have used to write it while in references, I put the reflist template to have all inline-citation there by themselvs.
- Yeah, the prose in the article is a proplem. I would like to have some more and bettter stuff but I havn't found a good source that tells about the final yet.
- I don't rank quality or importance of my own artilces because it wouldn't be an unbiased assessment.

The reason for this invitation is the attempt to establish a season guideline for club season articles. If you look at 2009–10 FC Bayern Munich season, Eintracht Frankfurt season 2009–10 and Hertha BSC season 2009–10, you will see that each of those articles has a different layout and different contents. In general, you could say that for each of these articles, which significantly obstructs the readability when jumping between season articles. In order to achieve a common standard, a discussion has been started at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Season article task force#Club season articles. - I appreciate that you took a look. I didn't want to say anything in particular to bias you before you took a look, since I wanted to avoid canvassing. I'll be a little more forthcoming now that you're on the record. My main issue, as I've said on the talk page, is that BlueMage (who has basically acknowledged that he's the IP) refuses to let anyone edit his work, and then he refuses to work on a compromise on the talk page. As a result, I was willing to just revert him when maybe I should've asked you or someone else to weigh in sooner, but I didn't see what other point there was to make. As far as the specific wording, it's possible that mine is better or worse; I don't much care about that. As you said, it's all about what's better for the article. However, we can't have a situation where one guy tries to exercise complete control over the page, which is what he's tried to do.
- The one thing I would quibble with is that it's definitely better to attribute the opinions to the specific authors (Ben Rubin has a WP page that we can link to, actually) compared to using some kind of passive-voice, weasel-worded statement like "some/many people believe." The history of the debate is that the article was a duplicate article of 2011–12 Hannover 96 season. The difference being is that the s was capitalized in the duplicate article. - I think the content of the navbox is determined like most other things here. Basically everything that is related to the topic goes in if somebody puts it in. If at some point there is disagreement there will be discussion. You can edit the box with the small handles in the top left corner of the box. The 'E' is for 'Edit'. In case you haven't worked with infoboxes before, please be careful when changing something. The infobox is used on hundreds of sites, and if it gets corrupted it will not be there on all those sites. Cheers, OdinFK (talk) 07:00, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section.
