I don't know if you'll run into it, but if you're adding townships, it is not necessary to use |ctdab=
if you're also using |county=
. Let me show you an example from Iowa Highway 149:
{{IAint |county=Keokuk |cspan=6 |township=Benton |mile=14.838 |road={{Jct|state=IA|IA|21|dir1=North|city1=Delta}} }} {{IAint |township=Stead |ctdab=Keokuk |mile=21.684 |road={{Jct|state=IA|IA|78|dir1=East|city1=Richland}} }}
In the first template, I've already declared the county, so it's redundant to need |ctdab=
. However in the second template, I have to use |ctdab=
. If the junction is at a county line and there are townships on either side, you will have to use |ctdab=
because |county1=
does not have the same behavior as |county=
.
{{IAint |county1=Mahaska |county2=Keokuk |township=Cedar |ctdab=Mahaska |township2=Benton |ctdab2=Keokuk |mile=10.886 |road={{Jct|state=IA|IA|23|dir1=North|city1=Oskaloosa}} }}
I hope that my code is clever enough that it's easy to use. –Fredddie™ 05:29, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
