Hi Mootros. I've declined the speedy deletion (A7) of John Stevenson (geologist) as I don't think it qualifies for deletion under your selected rationale. The edit summary I gave was:
At this stage, I could see an AfD going either way. The article – in its current state – is not up to standard (particularly the tone) and the notability is borderline. Please let me know if you'd like me to clarify anything. Regards, matt (talk) 14:09, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
Hi Mootros, thank you for your welcome to Wikipedia. I look forward to contributing to this community. I have a question; I'm trying to start an article about a company titled "Pixable," but the article page seems to be protected. What would I need to do to remove that protection so I can edit it? Please let me know.. Thanks! Elaynekosty (talk) 15:08, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

Why do you write my contribution as vandalism here : Bioinformatics company Why do you consider it not notable, whereas other company like Genomatix are notable ?
Instead of removing my contribution strongly, would you explain your position !!!

Thank you very much, Mootros, for that welcome. I hope to do my best on that encyclopedia. I am familiar with fr.wikipedia. Best regards, Rustine (talk) 14:44, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
First of all, thank you for helping us out by welcoming new users. Your work is appreciated. A small note. If you believe there are users whose names sound completely like products, brands, organisations (Universal hospital tirana) or have clear conflicts of interest, do please guide such new users to our user name policy and encourage them to change their user name. Again, thank you for helping us welcoming new users. ♪ ♫ Wifione ♫ ♪ ―Œ ♣Łeave Ξ мessage♣ 10:03, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Hello and thank you for the welcoming. My question is that I still don't understand how i can include pictures in, when I am editing the text. Could you please tell me how? thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by Virgo Asmita (talk • contribs) 01:02, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
That's quite a mouthful, do you think? Would you mind posting to the talk page explaining the move? I'm not sure if I support or not, personally I am minded to have the title "Duke lacrosse case" but others involved may have comments as well. Happy editing,--Wehwalt (talk) 19:09, 23 April 2010 (UTC)--Wehwalt (talk) 19:09, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Please stop restoring the PROD and Speedy delete tags on the article John Stevenson (geologist) or you may be blocked for edit warning and failing to follow wikipedia policy. Please read WP:CONTESTED: Which says: "If anyone, including the article creator, removes a prod tag from an article, do not replace it, even if the tag was apparently removed in bad faith. If you still believe that the article needs to be deleted, or that the article should be deleted but with discussion, list it on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion." Just saw you reverted changes to Citizenship of the European Union, since it was dutch info in a seciton on UK/Denmark. I think the section was thought to introduce info on ultraperiferal and other outlying parts of the EU and therefore added the Dutch info (and changed the heading accordingly). Note that in the section also no UK info at all is present yet, so it should anyway be expanded and this was my (modest) start... Groet! L.tak 09:11, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
Hello!
I'll try to manage the photoes, will have to spend some time to learn how and what should be marked at the forms about photos. As i see any information in my article is demanded to be corrected to bring the footsteps and references, otherwise it is deleted. I'm trying now to collect the references in the editions and books and bring them into aticle, but many things are not published in the newspapers or printed magazines. And i can see many articles give the information about some facts without references. As an example - "Hrdlicka was a talented chess player. In 1953 Austria sent him to participate in the Student World Championship in Brussels." - no reference, i asked Angela and she aproved that he was a chess-player, but there is no reference about this information in wikipedia. May be she or i try to translate the article about Hrdlicka in English, it will demand some time also, will not be made soon. Mit freundlichen Grüss, Farmount1989
