Hi. Per WP:NPOV, it's best to avoid inserting personal views such as "unbelievable moment" and "epic victory". Thanks. -- James26 (talk) 00:13, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 02:01, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
There is no primary topic for the name and in such cases, the disambiguation page should be located at the base name (i.e., should not have "(disambiguation)" appended). See WP:DABNAME. Cheers. older ≠ wiser 12:15, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
You've improved a lot but I fear that it is little too off GA status. I believe that if rushed, the article won't be getting it and the issues can't be possibly addressed within a month or some perhaps, if you agree, let me fail it for this time and then you may go for re-nom once addressed the issues. My initial 3 noms of GA failed but now, I've 6 of them. Don't ever feel down and Cheers! TheSpecialUser TSU 22:44, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
OK. Do whatever you think is the better option. But, what would happen if we wait a month? LlamaAl (talk) 23:38, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
Dude, what the hell are you doing with the UFC on FX event pages ? Why not seperate pages ? Like everything else.. And if you make 1 whole event page, make sure it is up to date and complete. Thanks SiMntjMMA (talk) 08:50, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
I don't know what are you talking about. I don't partcipate in the UFC on FX events in 2012 page, and I have NOT made any whole event page. Thank you for your time.
The "Silva vs Sonnen" revert at Chael Sonnen. No edit conflict, it's just like my edit never happened. I'm not complaining, since the result is the same, just pointing it out because I've never seen that happen before. Maybe you haven't either. Thought it was an interesting coincidence. Anyway, take care. InedibleHulk (talk) 22:09, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
Very interesting. Happy editing! LlamaAl (talk) 13:09, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at UFC 153 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. —Kerfuffler 00:53, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

For your contributions to UFC related articles! You are doing really great work in improving them and updating. We do need more dedicated editors like you in specific areas of wiki, like you are with UFC topic. Keep it up! For now, I've left the issues at Talk:Matt_Hughes_(fighter)/GA1 and will be done by today night in adding the changes needed for c/es. TheSpecialUser TSU 00:52, 16 September 2012 (UTC) |
Hello. In regards to [[Category:Scheduled mixed martial arts events]] refers to Upcoming mixed martial arts events (its former name). As these events have already passed, it is unnecessary to have that category there. Thanks for your edits.(Justinsane15 (talk) 06:06, 19 September 2012 (UTC))
Hi there. I've seen the changes you've been making to UFC 120, as well as the improvements you've been making to 148 and Matt Hughes. Thanks for the help with 120. Was wondering if I'd be able to get your help on User:Paralympiakos/Sandbox 2 (not sure if that link will work, but if not, there's a link on my main userpage). I'm trying to source all of the bonus awards given out in the UFC. I've filled in almost all of the winners (as it started at Ortiz vs. Shamrock), but sourcing the winners takes FOREVER. I'm wondering if, when you had spare time, you could help out starting from some of the 2008/2009 events (e.g. UFC 90 onwards), since I'm working backwards. If you can, that'd be great, but just a little advice, copy (ctrl+c) any work you do before saving, in case we get edit conflicts, or you'll accidentally lose any progress you may have made. Thanks. A discussion is taking place as to whether the article UFC on Fuel TV: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/UFC on Fuel TV: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier (3rd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Mtking (edits) 08:22, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on UFC on Fuel TV: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mtking (edits) 08:30, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

Request reason:
I want to say that the block is no longer necessary because I understand what I am blocked for, I will not do it again, and I will keep doing productive contributions. I am here to make this encyclopedia better, because I love editing here. In the future, I will work harder in my WikiProject, Mixed martial arts. Along with User:Paralympiakos, I am the premiere editor there.
I am a minor aged editor. My sister is even younger than me. Please believe me when I say she sold me her account for one dollar.
Also, I want to finish with my DYK nominations. I have put all my efforts there, I do not want to lose them.
I am very sorry and embarrassed about this, I never wanted to cause problems in Wikipedia. I hope you understand me.--LlamaAl (talk) 21:27, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You have admitted you violated WP:SOCK. You admitted you even socked in one of the most serious ways possible: multiple votes in an AFD. You claim above to be the "premiere editor" on a range of articles (not true). Much of your explanation (selling an account for a dollar) are wholly unbelievable, but even still would show an incredible lack of judgement that is NOT something we can consider on Wikipedia. I personally find it surprising that this block is only in effect for one month: this should have been indefinite. I do not believe that you will mature significantly enough in 30 days to return to this project, however, you actions/edits once December rolls around will be proof one way or another. The "sister" account will not be unblocked, ever. It's contributions remain to remind us of your behaviour. This account will not be unblocked right now - you'll need to find a new hobby for a month. However, when December comes, your contibutions will be right here waiting. Note: do not edit Wikipedia at all while you are blocked, as that's evading a block, which will cause this current block to become indefinite (✉→BWilkins←✎) 09:08, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

My sinceres apologies about the IP sock. I only was trying to stop Mtking. 1.Admit to it. I admit I socked using my IP and User:Miufus, which was an account created by my sister Beatriz.
2.Make people trust you again. I definitely won't do it again. I will not make any edits, using any account or anonymously. You have my word.
3.Tell us why you are here. I want to make this a better encyclopedia. I also would help to address issues at the GAN UFC 120, if presented. *Improve UFC events articles since UFC 153. *Improve my userpage, using tabs; and my talk page, archiving threads and changing its format. *Join Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation. *Start to participate in AfDs constantly. *Finish Abel Trujillo and nominated it to DYK afterwards (I was creating it at my sandbox before my block). *Improve the article Fedor Emelianenko, and nominate it to GA. *Improve the article UFC 152, and nominate it to GA. *Ask for reviewer rights and start to work at WP:NPP. *Download Huggle and fight vandalism using it. *Download Stiki and use it to detect and revert vandalism. *Etc... Thanks for uploading File:UFC 155 poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. The notability tag is mainly for notice of problem rather than a threat to delete - that would be the PROD or an AfD. That said being given three chances is not the same as competing more than twice. I actually understand the he had bad luck in the draw but really if it does get deleted - it it be recreated soon enough. The DYI issue is something else - personally I would have not nominated it both for the reason given and the fact that a new article usually goes through a whole lot of edits before it settles down. If you feel that the tag would interfere in the nomination - you are welcome to remove it. As I said its not the same as a AfD or PROD. Cheers.Peter Rehse (talk) 07:05, 10 December 2012 (UTC)

I think that the flags for the top three fights can be re-added as a case can be made they are representing TeamAus and TeamUK. Mtking (edits) 02:39, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
Hey, I deleted those sandboxes you tagged for U1, before I realized you were copy and paste moving them to the mainspace. You know about WP:CUTPASTE? I don't think it's a super big deal since you'd be the only contributor either way but I kind of think we're supposed to keep the history even if you build it in your userspace. I think I should undelete those sandboxes and merge the histories into the articles. Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't been around in a long time. What do you think? Peace, delldot ∇. 04:02, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
I saw it, but didnt agree. it's pointless to remove flags. Since the beggining of wikipedia there were flags. Nonsense decision. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheAmazingChandler (talk • contribs) 01:19, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
I got it and accept it. But you guys should worry with things like the people who always wants to delete UFC records (who appears in every few months and they achieved that goal with UFC 155 and 156) and the people who do vandalism on the pages, not removing the nationality of the fighters. But I respect the decision. Thanks. TheAmazingChandler (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 01:36, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for the clarification on flags for fight cards. I was unaware there was discussion on the topic of flags. Personally, I like the flags, but will adhere to the agreed standard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Whispergoodguy (talk • contribs) 03:38, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
From the RfC: ...flags are inappropriate for inclusion in results tables unless the competition is established as taking place between fighters as a representative of a particular country. In the case of this event, I'd say that the flags are beneficial in the table because fighters did represent their countries (at least for most of the bouts). Why create an omnibus separating the free events by type. Like UFC on Fox, UFC on FX, UFC on FUEL TV, and so on. And for PPV numbers we also have UFC 1-10, UFC 10-20 and so on in incrimants of 10? We can also made an omnibus page for the TUF Finales. But they must be AS detailed as the stand alone articles. And very notable events like UFC 94 and UFC 148 must have their own page. Also needs to be updated and have NO spelling or grammatical errors. Can this be an idea to stop the madness over MMA on wikipedia? JonnyBonesJones (talk) 08:34, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
