Hello, I wish to bring to your attention an edit you had made on the BPL Group page, about three months back in Dec 2013.
While the converted US$ values are displayed alongside the INR my issue is with the display of 2014 term values in brackets in the "Performance" section. More precisely with the fact that the INR value while correctly multiplied by the current exchange rate is shown to be exactly ten times more than it is.
One crore (seven zeroes) is ten million (six zeroes). E.g here in the first line of the paragraph US$ 12 million should be Rs 73.2 crores and not Rs 732 crores as is being shown. Every single instance where these 2014 terms come in this issue arises of the value being shown as 10 times more. The name 'Travancore' is an anglicisation of the Malayalam word തിരുവിതാംകൂർ, pronounced tiruvitāṁkūr (as given in the Wikipedia article). 'Travancore' is used more frequently in older articles, but the newer spelling Thiruvithamkoor (or -core ) is closer to the original pronounciation. As this page is of little interest outside Kerala, it would probably be better to use the name used in Kerala, and to provide suitable redirects, with explanation, wherever needed. The vast majority of Muslims do not regard Ahmadiyya as a sect of the religion. Even amongst sunni and shia there is consensus that the sunnis and shias are muslims. There is no such established scholarly consensus, ijma, with regards to Ahmadis. Ahmadiyya believe that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was not the last prophet - henceforth by rejecting the most fundamental Islamic doctrine after tawhid, they are considered by the overwhelming majority to be a different religion all together - not an Islamic sect. Unless you have overwhelming scholarly evidence that Ahmadiyya is a actually a sect across the Islamic thought spectrum then unfortunately it cannot be edited back into the template. - Generally, comments from sockpuppets are struck out after they are blocked; this, I observed in the AfD archives. I reverted the strikeout because I did not find any convention towards striking out comments made by indefinitely blocked editors (posted before they were blocked), in general, but I recognised afterwards that it would be easier for the closing editor to discern the blocked editor's comments if the tags that you added next to them were present; so I partially self-reverted to restore these tags. - Hello Yashpal Sengar, welcome to Wikipedia. I suggest reading Wikipedia's guideline for identifying reliably sources (WP:RS). It details how one may determine whether a source (like a book) is reliable by Wikipedia's standards, based on who wrote it (someone knowledgable in the field or someone who is not), the publisher (a publisher with high standards or one without), use by other entities (the book is used by scholars or the book is only used by politicians), et cetera. The guideline WP:RS has more details on this. There is also a reliable sources noticeboard, where other Wikipedians will help you find out whether a particular source is reliable or not. Regarding this edit: Just thought I'd explain what it was apparently doing there. Wikipedia has murky policies about linking to Tor hidden service addresses (.onion URLs) because they're not registered, are prone to being hijacked, there's a lack of reliable sources, etc. It looks like the screenshot image contains the .onion url, and the caption you removed indicates the existence of the "censored" address there. Should've been caught and removed a long time ago, along with the image, but since Tor Mail is gone now there doesn't seem to be any harm in keeping the screenshot. Hello. I've just done a few copy-edits on the new article titled Polyadic space. In particular, I set the title phrase, polyadic space, in bold type at its first appearance, as is normally done in Wikipedia articles.

Your vandalization in the wiki page on Kasaragod are not acceptable by Wikipedia standards.

- Now, on to the matter of the content: Kasaragod does not have an official language. Its administrative language is Malayalam. - The article you linked is about the city, not about the Kasaragod district. I have reverted your edit to the article that added the claim that Kannada is an administrative language in the city. The Languages of Kasaragod web page by the Department of Tourism (Kerala) lists Malayalam as the sole administrative language. - I did not remove any links. I only removed the claim you added that Kannada is an administrative language of Kasaragod, because it is not a claim supported by any reliable sources. I added a link to the web page I mentioned above because the claim about Malayalam being an administrative language was not sourced, either, so I needed to add the link as proof that the claim is true.
- If the Department of Tourism amends their website and adds information to say that Kannada is an official language of Kasaragod, then it may be added to the article. - Your fundamental viewpoints are quite self explanatory. There was a reliable link which stated that Kannada is the second administrative language. This website has edited the information given in that original source. You also deleted that source. I am the one who added the link (which you have replaced with present unaccetable lnk) which mentioned about Kannada being second administrative language. Even if they don't edit their page I am going to stand up for my language. I live in a democratic nation state.

- 2. Kannada has existed here since Tenth century CE.
- 3. Kasara is the name of a tree in Kannada. In the town also there are pure Kannada names like Anebagilu and Koodalu.
- 4. There are good private and government schools which have Kannada As the main language.
- 5. Kasaragod has a rich history of Yakshagana which represents the cultural identity of Kannada and its heritage.

There was a reliable link which stated that Kannada is the second administrative language. This website has edited the information given in that original source. You also deleted that source. - There were no sources in the article supporting the claim of Kannada being a second administrative language. I did not delete any sources. The link I presented meets Wikipedia reliable sources criteria, so it is not unacceptable.

- Wikipedia is not a democracy. Living in a democratic nation state gives you rights in that state, but those rights do not extend to editing Wikipedia, which is a privately-owned website. All edits to Wikipedia must conform to its policies and guidelines.
- The new sources you have provided here do not say that Kannada is an administrative language, but they do prove that it is a significant minority language in Kasaragod, spoken by over one-third of its inhabitants. The correct action per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section#Foreign language and Wikipedia:WikiProject India#Indic scripts in lead is to add a Name section to the article and mention the Kannada name there. I also suggest starting a new section at Talk:Kasaragod to suggest adding the name in the Kannada script to the infobox, and presenting the sources there to support the suggestion. --Joshua Issac (talk) 17:39, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
Just to note that WP:ERA covers this, we don't change the established nomenclature without a discussion as to why the particular articles should be one or the other. I did not actually change the nomenclature, since the section just before the one I edited used AD, which is what I had used as a guide to choose between BC and BCE in my edit. It was not clear from the context whether the referred Kingdom of Judah and United Monarchy were AD or BC kingdoms, hence my addition of the "missing BC".
