Just wanted to let you know that I have been trying to follow host feedback and give advice as needed, such as here. Granted, that was a relatively small thing to deal with as opposed to editors who are overeager to begin hosting, but I will continue to check up on things. I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 02:55, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
regarding messageHosts.py, see this proposed change, you wanted to use an actual substitution. :)

Hey Jonathan, could you take a look at User talk:Okeyes (WMF)/Archive 5#Popups for readers and offer an opinion on the difficulty of creating whatever switch would be necessary for readers to turn them on and off? As I mentioned there, I think it would involve using cookies, but I know little about the situation, so it's very possible that I'm wrong. Ryan Vesey 16:43, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
Hello again! We have some neat updates about the Teahouse:
Teahouse Host Badge | |
Awarded to hosts at the Wikipedia Teahouse. Experienced editors with this badge have committed to welcoming guests, helping new editors, and upholding the standards of the Teahouse by giving friendly and patient guidance—at least for a time. Hosts illuminate the path for new Wikipedians, like Tōrō in a Teahouse garden. |
Thanks again! Ocaasi 01:55, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
It's been an exciting year for the Teahouse and you were a part of it. Thanks so much for visiting, asking questions, sharing answers, being friendly and helpful, and just keeping Teahouse an awesome place. You can read more about the impact we're having and the reflections of other guests and hosts like you. Please come by the Teahouse to celebrate with us, and enjoy this sparkly cupcake badge as our way of saying thank you. And, Happy Birthday!
Teahouse First Birthday Badge | |
Awarded to everyone who participated in the Wikipedia Teahouse during its first year! To celebrate the many hosts and guests we've met and the nearly 2000 questions asked and answered during this excellent first year, we're giving out this tasty cupcake badge. |

Hi, not sure if you're still active, but I would advise removing Wikipedia:Teahouse/Host/Featured/19 from the list, as he is blocked. Best, Matty.007 16:08, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

Is this really one of your pages ? It looks like promotional vandalism by somebody else to me but I am reluctant to suggest it be deleted in case it has some significant purpose. Regards Velella Velella Talk 18:57, 10 July 2014 (UTC)

I apologise for the misunderstanding. However, I am sure you can understand the skepticism and mistrust this community has in general of the WMF who are, effectively, our servants and whose salaries are paid by the donations our volunteer work generates. I admit to being possibly more sensitive to these issues than most, but recently, for example, 22 admins laid down their tools here in protest at the WMF.
