I could use some advice on one of your adoptees. Specifically this image and its status at IfD. I specifically request that you not get involved (in the explicit effort to avoid the accusation of canvassing). Let me reiterate, I am asking for your advice, not input on the IfD. — BQZip01 — talk 02:56, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to the discussion on GA process reform at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Good articles/Reform. Based on the suggestions made, a proposal has been set out (at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Good articles/Reform#Open review proposal). Your further input would be very welcome, as there are a number of areas that may need more discussion before this proposal is put to the wider community. All the best, EyeSerenetalk 10:30, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Think it's done now. Take a look when you're ready. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 15:55, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
As mentioned I'd like you to use your creativity to conjure up a new userpage for me, if you'd be so kind. Something dark and evil (O.o sppppo0o0oky). Any thoughts? — MaggotSyn 06:46, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
I noticed you joined only two years ago and yet in that time have gotten very involved with and become a strong contributor to Wikipedia. This is to say hello and my thanks for your participations! Tyciol (talk) 18:57, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
I noticed your comment on BQZip01's talk page. You seem to be familiar with the history of conflict between Cumulus Clouds and MichaelQSchmidt, which has come to a head at the SSP case I linked above. If you can see a way forward, please let me know and offer your opinion on the SSP case. I hope this can be resolved short of arbitration, but I don't see how that will happen. Hi Laralove, you might remember months ago you blocked this user Masalai (talk · contribs) for harassment of me. Seems like he is continuing with this edit on the talk page of a user I am having a dispute with. Masalai claims to be a lawyer living in Brisbane (which is coincidentially the same as the user I am having a disagreement with) yet almost all his edits are on Canada. I believe it's a not so subtle personal attack. Michellecrisp (talk) 13:53, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
I apologize for not staying in communication for these last months, but the incident(s) that brought me back aboard had been settled and I could then spend what free time I could in perusing Wiki Guidelines and procedures. I had been scrupulous since my return to not edit any article, specially those at the root of the earlier contention, so that nothing I did could in any way be claimed as COI.
It was only last week, after 6 months of more knowledgable and far more experienced editors making edits and improvements to the Michael Q. Schmidt article, that the article itself was once more deconstructed with absolutely no regard to the consensus reached by the earlier AfD... and it was being chopped apart in the exact same manner that had been done previously and by that same editor. When once more having false statements attributed to me, I fely I had to rebutt. Not actively editing does not mean one has abandoned Wiki, only that one knows to let more experienced persons do what they do best and to continue the learning process. Your school has been extremely helpful.
The mistakes I made last year as Mqschmidt were the mistakes of a total neophyte. I did not know what I was doing of how to do it. Leaving Wiki in a huff and not even then knowing or caring about the account being blocked was the actions of a very frustated. I will not defend L.L.King and group for their misuse of Wiki, as they broke many rules and were accordingly chastised. But I stress again... I have never instructed the King group to use Wiki. If you pay the pizza guy who delivers your pizza, and then he kills someone, is it right for you to then be accused as paying off a murderer? The "accusation" is true that you paid a murderer. But without the context of why you paid him or what he was doing for that pay, the accusation will stand as equally damning and make you appear complicit in the murder.
Again, thank you for your forbearance. I did not return as User:MichaelQSchmidt to circumvent a block. I did not return to hide or deceive. I have been as open and above-board as possible. If it turns that I am to be sanctioned for returning to Wiki, then fine... and I will accept what transpires. My pique last January has been tempered by wiser editors such as yourself and I think that most admins might agree that I have not been "disruptive" in any sense since your adoption of me last January. Your intervention was as helpful as it was intended. Again, thanks. Michael Q. Schmidt (talk) 22:18, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

I am doing a little homework(not) (I just feel like flirtig)(lol)(im only 12 so we could never work out). Which article that you created are you most proud of?Gears Of War 00:18, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Riiiiight. Okay, well, I've turned lesbian... so sorry to disappoint on that. Uhm, so the original question, I'm most proud of Hogettes as far as articles I created. Another you may be interested in (I didn't create this one, but I helped build it from scratch) is Knitta. For articles I greatly contributed to, it would be Maynard James Keenan. You'll note from these that I write the articles of the utmost importance. The hard-hitting topics that are essential to building a successful encyclopedia. These are the articles that make Wikipedia > Brittanica. That's what I tell myself anyway. ;) LaraLove|Talk 05:07, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Hey, guys, you have your own talk pages. I don't need orange banners when I'm trying to work for someone else's conversation, ya know? kthxbai. LaraLove|Talk 14:00, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

I think it was that color that made me delete the whole damn thing in the first place. I'm trying to figure out a color scheme in which the whole page is dark (as in gothic dark, evil for lack of a better word; that kind of dark) and still allow for a basic font color to be seen. I'd also like the userpage template, along with your name on the top; and the barnstar section closest to the bottom (if thats no trouble). I like to give credit to where its due, and seeing your name at the bottom left me with the impression that you tend to shy away from giving yourself credit (much like where I want my barnstars). Other than that I like it. Thank you. — MaggotSyn 13:06, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I'm not sure what to make of this. It's boiling up out of a content dispute (of very little merit IMHO) on Talk:Adolf Hitler and has now reached here and I'm not sure where to go next. Am I out of line or am I being trolled? This is a 3-day old editor with an interesting Contrib history and I'm not sure it isn't, er, a previous user. If you could spare a little time, I'd be grateful. Ta. --Rodhullandemu 19:19, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is, however, another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please consider creating an account and uploading your media there instead. That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!--OsamaK 07:21, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

I humbly thank you for taking the time you took in creating my userpage from scratch, and for putting up with my anal retentiveness along the way. I'm blown away by it. :) — MaggotSyn 19:39, 27 June 2008 (UTC) |
Ohai. You probably remember me from when I asked you to adopt me. Well, I have no need for another adopter now. I've gained much experience since I last met you. :) Anyway, the reason I came is that I would like you to join the Wikipedia:User Page Design Center/Help and collaboration! I saw the work you did to renovate a user's user page above and I think you could be of help with our project. I design user pages myself also. I basically took the job of User:Phaedriel. Her work will always be admired so I decided to follow in her footsteps. So, do you want to join? If so (I hope so), just add your name here and here and you'll be all set. I'll be waiting for your response. Thanks, RyRy5 (talk) 13:49, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Lara,
I want to respond to your email. I don't want to do it publicly, but I am unwilling to share emails, because with IP's addresses, I might give out my personal information. I'd rather not do that.
Any ideas? Or would you like me to respond her publicly? Your choice. OrangeMarlin Talk• Contributions 01:30, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you so much for your words of comfort at this dreadful time. Isaac is here with me at home, and will stay here for the condolence viewing calls until the funeral on Thursday. It gives me comfort to have him so close until we are definitely and finally parted.
Your words and thoughts mean the world to me, and give me the courage to face the coming time alone. Thank G*d for my job. I will be back at work next Monday, which will help to distract me from everything which has happened. Jeffpw (talk) 14:55, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
I am still going to write you personally, but I'm quite busy in the real world right now (you know Murphy's Law? Well, Murphy has decided to hang out in my company, and he's in a very bad mood). I do not rescind my opinion (well-supported by any number of citations) that White Pride as an organization is definitely racist and as an attitude (I guess that's white pride in lower case), it's marginally different. However, based on what you've been saying publicly, I'm going to take you at your word, and I want start with the proverbial blank slate. It's not quite an apology, more of a "group hug", know that there are differences in opinion. I'll tell you more privately, where we might be able to be more open in our conversation. But if any of the above isn't clear (and I'm only on my first cup of coffee), I would really like water to pass under the bridge and out to sea. I'm bad with metaphors. :) OrangeMarlin Talk• Contributions 17:02, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
