Again, welcome! —Guanaco 03:04, 12 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Kalafatis2.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks! Kbh3rd 03:39, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Agia_Paraskevi_Central_Square.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. --OrphanBot 07:11, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
In order for an article to be neutral and objective it must simple present the facts! The facts in our case are that Panathinaikos has the most departments and most titles won by them. Your assumption is that if the previous are true then a team is the biggest. However this is your point of view therefore making the statement subjective. In general remarks made on facts dont help to the neutrality of the article. Present facts not remarks.--Zito ta xania 11:16, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Paologo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BigrTex 19:11, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Kalafatis2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BigrTex 23:33, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Panathinaikos F.C.. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. The number of titles won by the team is verified by four reliable sources and the titles you added do not match the sources given. Reverted per WP:BURDEN. – Kosm1fent 14:33, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Green. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Green~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
Community Liaison, Wikimedia Foundation

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Indian Tomb (1959 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Greek. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi.
Please do not update statistics or scores while a match is in progress. Instead, wait until the match has finished before updating. At WikiProject Football there is a consensus not to add live scores and also a consensus not to update any statistics while a match is in progress. Without live updates it is easier to avoid duplicate information and errors from being published on the article.
Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 17:51, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
Hi.
When you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by updating |pcupdate=
(or |club-update=
) parameter when updating club appearances and goals, or |ntupdate=
(or |nationalteam-update=
) when updating national team appearances and goals. The easiest way to do this is to use five tildes, which automatically converts to the current time. For example |club-update=~~~~~
.
When you update the career statistics please remember that you should also update that timestamp as well to a time when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.
This is done to show other editors when the stats were last updated and prevent them from accidentally updating the stats again, and also it shows readers that it has been updated.
Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 17:52, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
The article Panathinaikos B.C. you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Panathinaikos B.C. for things which need to be addressed. The article Ademe Cuneo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JTtheOG (talk) 05:30, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

It is consensus not to include teams for which a player never appeared in an official game (either regular season or postseason). The consensus discussion can be found here. There are cases like Andrew Bynum where a player was on a roster for an entire season and it doesn’t appear in the infobox. That said, clubs that fit this description should be highlighted in the text of the article so readers understand the player’s career. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 12:58, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

An article you recently created, Feyonda Fitzgerald, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Engr. Smitty Werben 08:40, 8 February 2022 (UTC)Hello. I reverted your edit which renamed Agia Sophia Stadium to OPAP Arena. In Wikipedia, when a stadium has a non-commercial name and a commercial one as well, the non-commercial name is used. This applies also to stadium names, and this is why the stadium article is named like that in Greek and English wikipedia. Reasons are explained both here (in English) and here (in Greek, with more detail). Please refrain from making such edits in the future.
