So what exactly do you need help with? Using userboxes? Or making containers for them? I don't understand exactly what you need help with, but if you can be more specific I would be very happy to help with whatever. During this process, is it okay if I edit your user page to help you with whatever? Also, if you think it may help, you may want to view the source of my user page to see how I did something. By the way, nice April Fool's Joke. Later, zappa 03:30, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Now I see what you mean about Wikipedia pages that look like ads. How about this one? It's taken straight from the band's website. -Jon Stockton 01:34, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Geppy--I'm typing them up/collecting them. For now, i just set that up to keep reminding myself to do it.
Hi, i dont mean to bug you, but i dont know what to find what i am looking for, and your an admin, so i thought you might be able to help. Do you know where i can get information regarding the construction of boxes on wikipedia pages? Like the excel type boxes with different columns and rows. Any help would be great, i have been looking for the past hour and cant find anything. Thanks. --Geppy 06:09, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
This isn't a contradiction, i have cigars maybe once or twice a year and i enjoy it, okay? But for the most part I hate tobacco smoke.
Nice to see the Edina and area articles you've been working on! I'm from there (class of 2001) and currently living there again while attending Grad school (UMN). I'm also a photographer so one of these fine spring days I'm going to try and shoot some photos for the articles (Jerry's, Centennial Lakes, Edina Schools, City Hall, Edinborough, the old mill site, Bremar, 50th&France, etc) so if there's any particular local sites you want photos of please let me know and I'll add them to my list. Secondly, see my notes on the Pohlad controversy, he definately lives in Edina. I did hack out a basic OLG article today based on your link from the education section on the Edina page. I also agree that the Edina Public Schools need a seperate article from the city. Let me know what you would like help with. I do also have copies of the "From Settlement to Suburb" book and a video tape history of Edina done by the historical society that can be used as references if you need one for something. It might be good to try and include something about the morningside controversy/split/rejoining on the Edina page as well. --BenFranske 01:46, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
I've put a list of things I plan to take photos of on my user page. I did add a few things to your list such as the Grange hall and I'm sure I'll come up with others. As far as photos of EHS go, it's pretty much going to be a mess until October so I think I'll hold off with that, I have been taking construction photos at both ECC and EHS every few months though so I do have a lot of those to choose from. I'm going to grad school at the U of M and living in Edina so taking photos is no problem for me. I'm keeping my eye out for a nice day. --BenFranske 01:20, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
I noticed you've edited a fair amount of Minnesota articles. There's a WikiProject for Minnesota, conveniently located at Wikipedia:WikiProject Minnesota. If you're interested, you might want to check it out. (I feel like I should give more of a sales pitch here, but I'm fresh out of sales pitches tonight.) --Elkman - (talk) 02:49, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
You asked in the history of the Bloomington, Minnesota article if Bloomington has an official seal. I'm not sure about a seal, per se, but the city has a logo. You can find it on the city newsletter, the Bloomington Briefing, at the top right corner of the page. (This is a PDF file, so it's probably not easy to get the image unless you do a screen capture.) If you want to grab this, feel free to do so. I don't think I'll be able to do this right away because I have too many irons in the fire right now. --Elkman - (talk) 18:41, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
You have recently edited your user page to contain a vindictive and malicious attack on me. The contents are false, and are a violation, among other things, of Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:Assume good faith. I request you remove it at once. - Calgacus (ΚΑΛΓΑΚΟΣ) 22:00, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Let me add, also, that certainly there are some people who don't like their music who are notable. I'd guess Herb Albert would be one of them, though I haven't heard him speak out against them in particular. Good Vibrations has notable criticism from Pete Townshend.J. M. 07:13, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:100breachpointframe.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Hi Gepart, this is in response to the question you posted on my talk page. I listed this article as a copyvio because I found it to be a copy and paste from the web site that I identified. In retrospect, I should have nomiated it for speedy deletion under CSD-A8, but since it's more than 48 hours old, it seems too late to take that route now. In any event, since it's been tagged since April 15 and no one including the author has made an attempt to rectify the problem, I hope it can be deleted at this point. Regards, Accurizer 11:01, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Just a quick question. I like how you used columns in your travels section on your user pages and was wondering if you might be able to direct me to were i can learn that. I cant seem to figure out how to only have columns in one header without throwing of the rest of the page. Thanks!--Gephart 20:27, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Present it on the talk page; if people want to do that, I don't mind a whole lot, but it seems like we have spent a huge amount of time fiddling with how the date is expressed. I was happy to see all that footnoted a few days ago. Tom Harrison Talk 23:56, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Hello. According to standard Wikipedia conventions found in Wikipedia:Manual of Style, you're using too many capitals in section headings. Please see my recent edits to Byerly's, Benilde-St. Margaret's School, and some of your other articles. It shouldn't say "External Links" with a capital "L", but "External links". Michael Hardy 00:31, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi Gephart, saw your nice words on my talk page, thanks. I know what you mean when you talk about people who get too despotic on WIkipedia. The best thing out of this is you indirectly motivated me to write an article on Gil Garcetti (thus giving like to about 4 dead links). All the best, -- Bobak 18:18, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
We recorded it ourselves, in a couple different locations: The drums at McNally-Smith in Saint Paul, and I think all the rest was at Edward Davidson's house in western Minneapolis (he's our former guitar player.) By the way... Who are you? Do I know you?? I don't know of any regular Wikipedia contributors in real life... Grandmasterka 01:16, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Two questions regarding pronouciation (please dont take offense to these, its not the point). 1) How do you phonetically say it, and 2) what is your cultural and ethnic background? By that i mean, where are you from originally. I have only heard it refered as U-Dub but that definitally doesnt mean that that is the only way it is said, so please let me know. And yes, U-Dub is verifiable, it is the unofficial pronounciation by UW officials/students/alumni, etc. Thanks.--Gephart 02:32, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about that, it has to do w/ a complete lack of sleep. :P I just proposed it for deletion, so as you very well know, it can be simply removed if disagreed. I proposed it for deletion since it seemed the most the article would be was just a VERY long historical listing of a high school league. It didn't seem notable. Of course, I am not infallible (thank god, if I was, we'd all be in troubel ;)), so please leave me a comment or delete the tag. I'd be more than happy to discuss it. Yanksox 06:27, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Kronosmaktub.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

: you ask for verification. I don't have anything citable, but I lived here already at that time and it sounds at least approximately correct (I couldn't vouch for the exact revenues from the exhibit, but I attended it). - Jmabel | Talk 23:14, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Hello, I am trying to get Minnesota to featured article status and could use your help. You seem to be interested in cities/towns/the metro area so do you think you could improve those sections of the article? Any help would be apprecated, thanks! -Ravedave 05:01, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Shaq2004allstargame.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 11:10, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

I see you've removed the {{badJPEG}} tag that I've placed on some images you've uploaded, saying that there is no non-JPEG source available. While this may be true, it's irrelevant; some other Wikipedian could redraw the image and save it as a PNG or an SVG. In fact, that's usually what is done. As a rule of thumb, images such as maps, flags, charts, diagrams, and so forth should be saved as SVGs, or if that's unavailable, as PNGs. See Wikipedia:Preparing images for upload for further information. I've restored the {{badJPEG}} tags to these images. Let me know if you have any questions. —Bkell (talk) 21:56, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
an excellent idea! I may not have much time this month to actually contribute but I'll help as I can and certainly vote for it. --Lukobe 22:41, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
What automatically makes a person notable? Just because a person is not known on a national scale does not make them insignificant. If a high school produces a pro athlete, I believe it is worth noting, as the odds of one person making a big league roster in any sport are extremely slim. Anyways, I removed some of the lesser-known people for the sake of the wikiholics.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by XMR - 19:14, 6 July 2006 (talk • contribs) .
On this map, you have drawn the western Richfield border as being at I-35W, when in fact it should go a bit more west to Xerxes Avenue. --ZJH 17:16, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Which one of these is it: a very short article providing little or no context (CSD A1), contains no content whatsoever (CSD A3), consists only of links elsewhere (CSD A3) or a rephrasing of the title (CSD A3).
It's not A1, because it's enough to establish notability and make it into a proper stub, it's got content, it's not only links, and it's not a rephrasing of the title. It's not CSD - it's a substub. The reaction should not be, let's delete it, rather, let's turn it into a stub. The only thing that would get this thing deleted is if it wasn't true - that's why I slapped a {{verify}}. - CrazyRougeian talk/email 20:45, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Hopkins school district.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Thanks for that, its nice to know that other people do notice some of the things I add :D, it can get a little lonely over here!! Ah well.
I always try and add useful edit comments ever since I started working for the mediation cabla (not that it exists of course) and found how frustrating it is to follow the development of an article or edit war if theres no or pointless comments.

Man what else can I do to not get this thing deleted. I tried to be very non-selling in the article, even though, yes, I am the writer of the Comic Book. However, I am also the head marketer... and this stuff is my responsibility. I didnt even link to the company's website, but I see now how the cafepress site was a mistake to link to! Can I ad more information or picture to help?RMThompson 19:24, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Just a FYI. I removed your speedy tag and replaced it with a prod. Unfortunately (in my opinion) spam/advertising is not a valid criteria for a speedy under WP:SPEEDY. Dipics 21:22, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
If you know that a category you want to create is not already in exsistence then add it to all the pages that need the category. You will then see that the category shows up in red. That is standard. Now click on that category and you will everything in that category. If you know what main categories that category you just created falls under then add them.
Now if that sounds a bit complicated then you can create the category first then add it to the pages that need this category.
Hope I have helped you in creating categories. If you need more help then message me. Mr. C.C. 06:36, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi! To get the code of templates, you go to the template directly, e.g.- Template:University of Washington, and then hit the "edit" button as you would on any other page. To create a new template, you can type Template:NameOfTemplate into the search box, and then when it says it doesn't exist, you can create it as you would any other new page. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers, EWS23 (Leave me a message!) 17:18, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
